Bobby is no Rhodes Scholar, thats for sure.
But Jameis is borderline retarded.

I agree that Jameis almost certainly has a higher IQ than Bobby

I mean right now it sounds like he’s freaking crippled… play Dalton until he’s healthy.

He’s just fine mentally. He just doesn’t see things …like open receivers fast enough. Remember he had surgery to correct his vision? I think his eyes aren’t providing the detail or peripheral breadth to see the whole field effectively enough. So he holds the ball while looking.

Soooo he’s calling him dumb

Bridgewater was no better, his ceiling was game manager we would go nowhere with him also. Dalton at least has skins on the wall but I think he’s past his prime and probably would be game manager type also, the Saints have just been hard headed and should have used 1st round picks on QBs instead of lineman.

I don't know, dude. He's pretty stupid.
Maybe after the London loss, more people will figure it out.

It's more attitudinal than aptitude. He has the skills and intelligence to be a starting QB or he would not even sniff the field as a starter.
The book on Jameis is that if you can frustrate him or the offense enough, he will make mistakes like interceptions or ill advised long balls. Unlike Brees who stayed on script from beginning to end. Jameis has a tendency to try to do too much.
What is hurting him and helping these problems along is the absence of a sustained running game. He was successful last year because Kamara and others were beating up defenses. This year not so much and they are turning it over.
You get a running game that averages 4+ yards per rush, you will see Winston's turnover ratio go way down and you will see him stay with the short to intermediate passing game that works.
Also teaching Hurst to block would not hurt either

You Winston fan boys need to settle down.
It's possible for both Winston and Hebert to be idiots.

Just had to laugh reading that sentence.
Anyway, we all know Jameis is good for a few absolutely boneheaded plays per game. I think he tries very hard, but just loses focus and brainfarts cost his team dearly.

this is about handling the complexities of the Saints offense that he's been around for over 2 years now. Not just about a bonehead play or two here and there.

Nobody is saying that he is special needs. Most QBs go to the line and are able to read a defense. They put a guy in motion to see man or zone and should know where the hot read is and where to anticipate open routes.
He does not process this information fast enough to act on it.

Bobby is a brain surgeon compared to Winston.

Bobby had a higher interception rate.
Than Jameis
Think about that

Why. He doesn't have to be anything on the field to have an educated opionion about Jameis on the field.
