I say yes.

This win secured HFA.

No other win has done that (got HFA via a Vikings’ loss in 2009).

We’ve had wins secure playoff berths (1987, 1990, 1992, 2010, 2013).

We’ve had wins secure division titles (1991, 2000, 2006, 2009, 2011, 2018). [2017 was secured with a Carolina loss.]

But never had we had a win that secured so much for us.

I’d argue it’s not even the biggest this season. It’s a moot point if we don’t beat the Rams earlier this year in one of the most hyped games in the NFL. Even if we lost yesterday, we could still secure #1 seed next week.

This is not even to mention the return to the Dome on MNF against Falcons in 2006 with Brees/Payton’s first season, Gleason’s historic block, etc. I doubt anything matches that in terms of raw emotion in the regular season

No regular season game will ever be bigger than the Sept 2006 win against Atl. Only thing that would have made it better would have been if we won 28-3, I think the score was 24-3.

That was the most fun. Bill was going for every fourth down to try to keep up and eventually made his arse and Brady quick

Hard to top Falcons 06 and Patriots 09, but that was one of the best regular season games I can remember. Playoff atmosphere.

Absolutely.

The falcons win was symbolic and set the tone for the season.

The Patriots game and the Rams game proved that we could beat the big boys.

But if we don’t pull that game out our arse yesterday, the road to Atlanta might go through Los Angeles.

yeah that was the biggest it was live in prime time the world was watching as we destroyed Brady and belichick. Both were home victories over first place teams but the patriots game felt like we owned them yesterday’s game as big a victory as it was depended a lot on him coughing up that fumble

We had 23. It was either 23-3 or 23-0.

I would have to say beating the Steelers in 87' to secure playoff birth is bigger

It remains to be seen how big. If the Saints get the Lombardi then chalk it up there with the biggest ever IMO.

I also always enjoyed that 62-7 point arse whipping we put on the Colts in 2011

This win meant more than any other win, you can’t deny that. Securing home field advantage is the biggest accomplishment you can achieve in the regular season, and yesterday’s win did just that.

It wasn’t a playoff atmosphere until late in the 3rd quarter.
