Betting SP Comes Back To The Saints

Some of you are set up for major disappointment.

Payton was flirting with the Rams. He flirted with the Dolphins.

He wanted out of New Orleans and didn't know how to go about it without pissing off the fans. So now he "retired" because he was "tired" and wanted to try something else. But he'll be back coaching soon.

Just not with us.

Other than the Super Bowl, the last good thing he can do for this organization is secure us good assets in a trade.

Nope…the Chargers moved to LA. BIG difference in the two places too…

I don't think he means coaching the Chargers, I think he's referring to "work" as anything he can do as a tv analyst that he can do from home and not at the studio.

But I could be wrong.

ETA or maybe he is talking about the Chargers. I can't tell. The "or" he threw in there has me confused on if he's calling working in broadcast working or coaching working

Guessing they will make him an offer he can’t refuse. Quoted as saying

Gayle is going to give him 10% of the team. Because that’s about what it would take.

20 cars broken into the Dome parking garage for the Pels game is another reminder to SP and wife coming back to the shitehole NOLA is a non starter. This keeps up attendance will fall off the cliff and the teams are gone.

CSP is not coming back to coach the Saints.

Neither is Hank Stram.

Same probability.

He will be coaching a team next year. That was his plan all along. He tried leaving while Brees was here. That says he knew he couldn't win another super bowl with the Saints. Now with the shape of the team he had a good excuse to leave for good.

One th is certain, he won't have the same success as he did here.

He's gonna have to at the very least find the perfect QB situation. And it don't really seem like there's gonna be many openings for head coaching jobs at teams with good QB situations

So that narrows it down teams that are in positions to trade for good QB situations. Then you have to build around that person.

If he and his wife hate New Orleans so much why are the in town all the time? His wife was here this past weekend. Most of their close friends are here.
