2007 Patriots 16-0
1998 Vikings 15-1
2011 Packers 15-1
2004 Steelers 15-1
1984 Dolphins 14-2
2001 Rams 14-2
1983 Redskins 14-2
1992 49ers 14-2
2005 Colts 14-2
2011 Saints 13-3

Where would you rank that 2011 Saints team?

What was the deal with 2011 Packers team? I don’t remember them having that good a record.

ETA: I feel 2009 Vikings team was pretty damn strong

They beat us in the opener. Started 14-0 or something like that. Lost to the Chiefs. We’re bounced by the Giants in the playoffs.

Damn, for some reason I thought we were neck and neck with niners as being the top in NFC. I’ve forgotten completely about Packers that year.

I’d have to agree, unbelievable offense and with the exception of a CB getting hurt, ridiculously healthy team.

2011 saints set the record for the most yards from scrimmage (out gaining the "Greatest Show on Turf" Rams from 2000). They were a historically good offense.

The '98 Vikings was the best team I ever saw that didn't win it all. That includes the 2007 Patriots at 16-0.

That Vikings team had some serious firepower.

I would not rank the 2004 Steelers that high, they were underdogs at home in the AFCCG.

The old school Steelers Say 1976 was their best team or at least best D. They started 1-4 and finished 10-4. During 9 game winning streak they threw 5 shut outs

They pounded the Colts and MVP Bert Jones. But both RB were hurt in CCG

Perfection just in reach. Just as they seemed to be squirreling away a victory; Houston, we have a problem.

With half the team on IR? They had a shot, but far from best team to not win a SB

ETA: You are trying too hard btw, keep it up. Maybe you'll improve over time.

I was going to say that I think we may be a tad bit biased about our 2011 team and while they may have actually been the best Saints team ever. They still were the 3 seed that year.

So to actually say that they were better or more deserving than the (1) Packers or (2) 49ers that they actually lost to is a little bit of a slap to both of those fan bases.

It was the best team the Saints have put on a field, not necessarily better than those other teams.
