I know the walk on's in Metarie will be jammed and I'm looking for an alternative.

TIA

Knuckleheads
Caddy Shack
Hooters
Sports Beat

Better places to me would be the Bulldog on Canal and the Bayou Beer Garden

i don't understand people who enjoy watching such critical games in a public mass environment. I couldn't stand to watch such a game in a bar/restaurant environment. Just me i guess.

I'd also throw out:

Swamp Room (if you have smokers in your group and don't mind the smell) Skip the burger and go steak or Tuna

Shenanigans - smoke free bar, great/clean environment, good food all around

Agreed. Other than at the Dome, I have no desire to watch the game any place that I'm surrounded by a bunch of people I don't know. Also like the idea of being somewhere that you can go back and rewind to do your own replay, or pause during interruptions.

Metairie bars suck so bad but what’s the place on the north side of Vets at bonnabel? Not a bad spot

Winston’s on Metairie rd

JBs on Metairie rd if you are younger than 30

Probably thinking of Sidelines. I like that spot because it's smoke free and has no trashy folks. The tv set up isn't all that great though.
The others in the little area suck.

Jiggers? If so, I think the owner used to run some uptown bars several years ago.

I can't deal with the smoke. Of these places mentioned, which one's are smoke free?
