The push out of bounds was late and ridiculous but what about Trey Hendrickson getting bear hugged HELD on the same play springing Mahommes! Blatant Holding not called. All game the refs were protecting Mahommes

That was holding but a call like that isn't getting made in that situation unless he tackles him.

Week in and week out officiating is just bad, it's not rigged but just bad. If I put on the tin foil hat ensuring that officiating is consistently bad makes it easier to screw with the game because one bad call in a sea of bad calls is normal.

That play should have been called back before the out of bounds. There were 3 Bengals DL is legit headlocks on that play.

The late hit was fine but should have been offset by the two holding penalties they missed on the scramble. But they should not have started in great field position anyway because they also missed a block in the back on the return. Gave them an extra down on third down, no call on burrow for roughing the passer twice. Adding seconds back on clock several times etc. I’m sure if I went back and watched the tape you could find more on both sides the officials were horrible but they did their job and made it entertaining for us. If you say the bengals had their chance to win then you could say the same about the saints after the no call. This league definitely favors certain players and teams by giving them calls and propping them up for their big games. But it was great entertainment though I enjoyed watching

The Saints no call was a large microcosm of a game plan by the NFL to place the Rams in the Superbowl.

The NFL placed 4 refs from Southern California in the Rams Saints game insisting its just a coincidence that the highest rated regular season refs were chosen from California.

The person in charge of grading the refs was Rich McKay the Chairman of the NFL Competition Committee and President and CEO of the Falcons.

For those who say the Bengals and Saints had other chances to win their games, they did, but the NFL was very adamant in removing or mitigating those chances.

For example, blocks in the back on the punt return setting the Chiefs in great field position to win the game. There was clear holding setting up KC on that late hit.

The Bengals lost an opportunity to score a TD before halftime by a number of very bad spots forcing extra plays and a timeout. The Bengals settled for a field goal and lost 4 points.

In the Saints OT loss to the Rams, the Saints were driving to win the game. Drew Brees was struck in the face and his WR was held creating an interception.

There was no replay. The announcers said nothing. The network production did a quick cutaway from the play. The Rams then kick the field goal to win the game.

It wasn't just the no call. The announcers, the refs, and the game broadcasting network had the same script. It is after all in court stated entertainment.

The Saints were never winning their game, nor was the Bengals.

There was no holding per NFL HOF OL

Outcome already determined before kickoff. Kansas City was going to Super Bowl. Check bank account of that Bengal defender that knocked QB out of bounds well short of FG range. It’s not what it seems.

Where did all this Cheifs hate come from

I don't think anyone hates the chiefs, I think they see the Bengals get screwed by the refs time and time again and it brings back the PTSD from our No Call.

It is true that not a single call in that game was as egregious as the No Call but collectively its hard to watch that and feel like both teams were on an even playing field. In football a flag can be thrown on every play if the refs want. This game they chose to over officiate one side while under officiate the other.

Thats not saying that most of the calls on Cincy weren't penalties. The only one that I thought was an objective bad call was a PI on number 21 from the Bengals that was super ticky tacky. The issue is that the chiefs were getting away with things that the Bengals weren't. The Chiefs OL held just as much as the Bengals and were never really called for it. PIs and block in the backs also not called. On the flip side, Bengals constantly called for holding (which were correct calls just not fair in comparison to the Chiefs level of officiating) and Burrow wasn't being protected by roughing calls in the same manner that Mahomes was. You add in the weird 3rd down replay and you get the suspicion we currently have.

The proof is in the fact that fans leave what seems like 75% of big games talking about the refs instead of the players or the plays made. This is a phenomenon that happens maybe once or twice a season in college football but happens weekly in the NFL. IDK whether the refs in the NFL are outright cheating or if they are just put in an unwinnable situation given the nuance to every NFL rule but it looks shady af.

The refs didn't screw the Bengals. The Bengals screwed the Bengals. The replay of every flag justified why it was called. I'm sure we could find multiple no flags that weren't called on Cincy too. Hell KC had 2 tds taken off the board but yep the refs wanted KC to win

Why so many saints fans being cucks for the bengals. I get it Burrow! Chase! Do y’all act the same way for the Vikings because of Jefferson? It’s so weird. I know people who are saints season ticket holders and they wore bengals stuff to the game this year. People can do whatever they want but the large amount of people who are so butt hurt over the bengals losing is weird

I’ve actually been loving seeing the Eli Apple hate as soon as the game ended.

U mean the one that no one could hear the whistle with the ref running on the field not in place? Once again the correct call.

It’s hilarious. All this rigged shite, Bengals got screwed. Then you ask people what specifically the refs got so wrong and it’s all bullshite. I think my favorite is the block in the back on the last return. The blocker came in and basically just set a screen, exactly how they are taught if someone has their back to you.

The only real gripe is Burrow getting knocked down late. Even there, on replay, it looks like the guy just gives Burrow a shoulder at the end. Wasn’t anything egregious.

Holds get missed every game. Blocks in the back get missed on returns every game. That "Roughing the Passer" was a flop. Burrow gets up begging for a flag and then chuckles as he trots away. The only call that was even that bad in this game was the intentional grounding. Even that one after they explained it in the booth I could understand the call, but they also should have gotten Mahomes for the same thing in a drive that followed. The Bengals lost when they had two interceptions and multiple shortened drives by deciding to air it out instead of running it down KC's throat. When Sneed went out KC shifted more coverage over the top and were susceptible to the run. Run the ball, play field position with a team with a hurt QB, hurt TE, 3rd string RB, and top three WR all out. Run it down their throat, pop one or two and force them to bring help back into the box and you aren't at the mercy of NFL officials being 100%.
