Anyone hear anything about this? Any truth to it? Thought this would have been a major game to attend given Joe Burrow.

Goodell is a moron. The hook for that game is Jeaux's homecoming.

The extra OOC game (Vegas in our case) should be the London game.

What a load of crap. Let’s move what would be the most anticipated out of conference game of the year for the Saints, and make sure the good people of London have the opportunity to see this long awaited showdown in person.

I thought Goodell hated Payton. He really just hates the state of LA and the region.

Wouldn’t this actually help the Saints? There is gonna be a lot of Bengals fans at that game if we play them in the Dome.

I know it's fun and often justified to hate on Goodell but he doesn't make the nfl schedule.

quote:

The NFL schedule makers — Senior Vice President of Broadcasting Howard Katz, Senior Director of Broadcasting Blake Jones, Director of Broadcasting Charlotte Carey, Vice President of Broadcasting Michael North, Vice President of Broadcasting Onnie Bose, and Broadcasting Coordinator Nick Cooney — must consider the fans, the league’s broadcast partners and many other factors when building the 272-game schedule that spans the 18 weeks of the NFL season and showcases the league’s best matchups and talent.

Imagine if this game IS played in New Orleans.

And the Dome is filled with LSU Burrow dick-lickers booing the Saints in their Orange Bungles jerseys.

Playing this game in London might be the best solution to avoid a potentially huge embarrassment

Burrow is already playing at home in Cincinnati.

If he called those guys and said “what are you doing? Burrow and Chase have to play in LOuisiana next year” you think they can tell him to frick off?

Or people would still be Saints fans, but enjoy the opportunity to see former likable superstar players from LSU come play in LA.

As an actual Saints fan, the thought of a bunch of "Saints" fans cheering for Joe Burrow in the dome sickens me so I hope this game is in London.

Bruh, you can pull for Burrow and cheer for the Saints. I think it would just be a lot of cheering all around, and the tickets would be a hot commodity.

Right, it's stupid to act like he wouldn't have veto power over something like this - or some say into it if he wants it.

Plus, he's the main reason these ridiculous yearly games exist regardless.

Not head to head! I love Joe but if he's playing us I hope he sucks astro turf all game but comes out healthy of course.

Only if we were out of the playoffs and Joe needed a win would I reconsider
