You are forgetting drafting a qb with the second pick out of Tennessee. We don't need another WR at this point in time.

Shaheed seems to be a find but so have several late round/UDFA guys only to later fade in the subsequent seasons.
After nearly 3 injury plagued seasons it’s just as likely MT fades/gets hurt again as it is he returns to being a long term producer. We absolutely need some WRs. If a guy like Addison is there in the early 2nd I wouldn’t hate it at all if we moved up a few spots. May as well give Carr some young cost controlled talent to work with.

Been seeing some mocks with Boutte available at our pick in the 3rd. You almost have to take that gamble. He was universally viewed as a top 10 pick going into the year. Big boom or bust pick.

Worth the gamble in the third but makes you wonder if his injury has taken too much of a toll on him. He was thought to be a tremendous athlete and looked amazing early on at LSU then had the ankle injury and we blamed his non production on JD. However, maybe the ankle injury has hobbled him more than we anticipated after seeing his testing numbers in the combine. Worth the risk and maybe he can get back to himself pre injury but I think that is the concern that is dropping him.
