Another question is this..

Sure, OBJ may clear waivers, but he would then have his choice of destination.

Who are we trotting out at QB? Siemian & Hill.

He may get fewer on target passes in New Orleans compared to Cleveland.

That’s the biggest issue.

…but there are also targets available here because of the lacking WR group.

You're underestimating Sean Payton's play design ability. He knows how to force feed talent better than anyone.

OBJ has $8M left on his 2021 salary, fully guaranteed, then $15M each of 2022 & 2023, none of which is guaranteed.

Nearly half of Odell’s targets this season have been deemed uncatchable

Odell meant to be on a team with a bunch of drip and swag.

We are the ones!!

Dude has every right to want out of Cleveland. I’ve watched a few of their games and he’s constantly creating separation and Baker never even looks his way. He could be very good in Sean’s system. He just wants the ball and I see no problem with bringing him in

I’ll be surprised if he clears waivers! Can’t believe we couldn’t get a deal done.

Any team that can use him can't afford a waiver claim. Unless a bottom dweller like the Lions wants the distraction, I don't see him getting claimed

I don't think he gets claimed before our waiver spot either.

This is the same way we got Janoris Jenkins after the Giants cut him. Nobody in front (waivers) of us wanted to pick up Jenkins' remaining contract.

OBJ might be the only way to get a legit WR without giving up a draft pick. I'm not interested in DeSean Jackson.

Money aside if he can pass the physical I trust the Saints to work on the mental. Longshot but that's where we are with our WRs.

He’s not going to be claimed on waivers if he’s cut. No one is signing up for that kind of money- hell there’s not many teams who have that money for this season left over.

If there was enough of a market for him that someone was willing to take on that contract, then he would’ve been traded yesterday

Do not want. OBJ is a pain in the arse and is always hurt.

You’re wrong.

ST is absolutely loco! A record setting diva WR that we drafted and has always played hard for us is hated because he’s injured while a talented diva WR that has pushed his way off two teams needs to be picked up immediately.

I hate our fans sometimes.

K. I replied to the post above that one which was factually incorrect.

I was making a general point. Not necessarily pointed at you directly.

I wouldn’t mind OBJ if money worked. But I doubt he’s be happy here with Hill and Seimen throwing him the ball.

He would absolutely feast here. Teams are not single covering Kamara. They're leaving a LB as a spy and covering with a rolling corner or a tight safety.

OBJ would have absurd holes to work with in the secondary.

Saints locker room may be the one to keep this head case in check? Risky no doubt… Don’t think we have any passers better than Mayfield at the moment either

Would he be open? Yes.
Do we have a QB to throw it to him consistently? Ehh…

The locker room with MT13 and OBJ would be very interesting to say the least.

All that being said, I don’t know if we could afford him in the first place.
