Odell is negotiating release with the Browns. After waivers clear I'd anticipate the Saints working to make something happen.

One is actually on the field, the other isn't. Odell playing is better than fricking Kevin White, Kenny Stills, and Trequan.

Umm..

There is no way he will drop down the waiver list to us. Someone with a better ranking will claim him over us.

I swear Odell missed a high pass on purpose Sunday that he could have gotten. He’s dying to get out of there.

Maybe….but if you claim him, you have to pay his remaining salary, that will scare alot of teams away

Not when you look at what he's owed on his current deal. It surpasses his current value.

He’ll likely be claimed unless his agent calls every team and threatens them all to not claim him, and they listen.

Not saying I wouldn't welcome OBJ to our shite receiver corp, but he is getting by on his name, not his performance. He is an injury-prone, underachieving WR that thinks he is a top 5 guy at his position.

Again, would take him in a heartbeat, but he ain't Giants OBJ anymore

certainly hope so, he will destroy this team and only brain dead idiots cannot see we dont need a guy here that will cause disruptions and demand he gets the ball 80% of the time.

he literally has his mom and dad out there creating game film to show how they arent throwing him the ball enough, good lord who the frick would want that ridiculous spoiled baby man child on their team. that is why he is getting released

Here are the teams with a higher waiver priority than the Saints:

Detroit
Miami
Houston
Jacksonville
Washington
NY Giants
NY Jets
Seattle
Chicago
Philadelphia
Indianapolis
San Francisco
Minnesota
Atlanta
New England
Kansas City
Denver
Carolina
LA Chargers
Pittsburgh
Cincinnati

And possibly Las Vegas, Buffalo and Baltimore

no it doesnt, he got released, as in he is no longer under contract as in there is no contract or money obligation to the team claiming him other then what they agree to when they sign him to a new contract

This is all so wrong

quote:

Matt Lombardo @MattLombardoNFL Odell Beckham Jr. is due $14.5 million this season, if the #Browns waive him the team that claims him is on the hook for the remainder of his contract (nearly $42.5M over the next three seasons). There’s a very real chance if Cleveland waives Beckham, he’ll clear and become a FA
