And where pray tell do you live? What cosmopolitan hamlet do you call home? Despite its faults, New Orleans is still the cultural capital of this state and one of the great cities in this country. Sure we have worsening crime and poverty, but to call it a third world hellhole is insulting. There is a reason millions of people from all over the world come here each year.

It kills me when people make statements like this. True, the city has recently went to shite with the uptick in crime, but there's crime everywhere. Especially big cities. Our 150 murders a year is no different than 500+ a year in L.A, or 700 in Chicago. People are still losing their life and getting robbed.
