An angle I posted about yesterday after reading alleged events.
If it's true Smith's wife was shot first it totally makes sense Smith would go for his gun at that point and Hayes is trying to claim self defense because Smith was going for his gun.
Everything is adding up to Hayes being the aggressor. He rammed Will's car, shot his wife first (if true) to goad Will into going for his gun so he could (in his mind) justifiably shoot him.

He said Will was holding the guy back (not sure if blocking with body or being physical), and she went for the gun to give to Will. Again, I'm just repeating what I heard.
I have no reason to not post this. Last I checked, freedom of speech was still a sort of real thing. frick it, I just hope the truth comes out (whether it's what my friend said or whatever really happened is different).
