Around the Horn was freaking out about how great of a hire Raheem Morris is

I’m guessing they’re doing this because he’s a minority coach, and so they have to talk him up in order to be politically correct. Tim Cowlishaw even mentioned that “black coaches don’t always get second chances like this”.
Personally, I’m happy about the hire because I think the Falcons will continue to be mediocre, and the Saints can keep kicking their asses.

I’m not bothered by the fact that Raheem Morris is a head coach. Not sure what about my post makes you think that. I’m actually elated because he’s not very good, and he will be in our division for a couple of years.
Also, Dennis Allen sucks and should have been fired already. He’s like Ed Orgeron except without lucking into one miracle championship season.

You won’t find anything with substance on those espn talk shows. They are literally designed to grab your attention however they can.

Not to anyone outside the Saints front office with half a brain.
He’s a proven loser. You don’t hire guys like that to be your head coach just for the sake of “maintaining continuity”. I knew it was a really lazy hire when it happened.
