The projected win total coming into the year was 5.

They have an opportunity to at least beat that.

And after hearing over and over all off season how bad we were going to be.

Frankly, I'm satisfied with where they are at the moment.

Shough has been playing well without hardly any sort of threat of a running game. And at times very suspect pass blocking, especially at guard.

I would say being optimistic and overreacting are two different things.

But what the f*** do I know?

It’s funny how everyone of these types of OPs starts sounding like “I’m just asking questions. Being very neutral” as a guise, and then they get more and a more vitriolic as they respond till at the end it just straight up sounds like an opposing fanbase talking shite. The mask slips.

1 -7 with Rattler

Shuck is 5 - 2 if Olave catches that late 4th qtr TD At Miami

Just enjoy it and be excited.

Stop finding reasons to think we will suck.

Rattler games we should be 2-5 bc Grupe sucks. One could argue the Rattler games should be 3-4

Look at how quickly a team like the Pats turned it around. Heck the Panthers might make the playoffs this season.

Hit on a draft or two and get the right coach and you can turn a franchise around quickly.

Forget the stats and forget the wins… if you can’t tell Shough passes the eye test then you’re blind.

And you’re also ignoring how well the defense has played.

Add a few more weapons on offense, shore up the OL, add some talent on the defense and you’re competing to win not only the division but able to make a playoff run

This was expected to be a really bad Saints team.

Do a look back at the season. Saints had the ball with a chance to win/tie vs Arizona, SF, NE, and Miami.

They have a ways to go before they can regularly compete against good playoff teams, but that wasn't even a thought in anyone's mind in August.

Let’s wait until we play a full year with Shough at the helm and see how our draft goes before we think we on our way to the Super Bowl.

Naw, I’m going to go ahead and be excited now. Loser.

I wanted Dart but Shough can sling it. I think he can be successful if they build around him. Rattler is practice squad at best.

It's much more enjoyable to be overlay optimistic than to be overly pessimistic.

The Saints are just right the way they are. Simply schedule the Jets 16 games/year and we going to the 'ship

Just curious

Why use the stat 3 out of 4. We have won 3 in a row and lost two before that. You could have used 4 -2 in our last six games. Why throw in the arbitrary loss 4 games ago? what was the point?

Shough is doing what Rattler could not, and with fewer tools at his disposal, there is good reason to be optimistic. So why not?

Maybe because it should’ve been a win if not for Olave’s drop
