Are we all so enamored with Jarvis Landry because he’s close to best we had last year?

He’s not really an above average/great player anymore. Do we just like him because he would be the best option out of what we had last year? And that’s even a maybe. He did miss a few games last season but wouldn’t have made much of a difference in the numbers.

Are we looking at him to be out WR4? Cause Callaway could easily be our 3 next year for way way way less money.

His numbers last season are a little worse than what Emanuel Sanders numbers were when he was here. Y’all felt good about Sanders? Lol

i think they are looking at him as a 1 or 2 yr rental until the new guys can begin to step in

as good as draft picks are thought of, few if any can be first year starters and also be good at it.

Fair point. But that’s a steep price to pay for a rental. If olave goes off, which isn’t unheard of based on what we’ve seen the last few years from early WR picks, you’re spending a lot of money if it’s a two year deal.

According to PFF, sanders, Landry, and Cole Beasley were all the same. Maybe get the cheapest of them for a solid vet

ETA... Julio Jones rated better than them all. I'd prefer him if his price is reasonable (cheap)

Cleveland made OBJ forget how to catch the ball until he ended up in LA. That cleveland team went as Hunt and Chubb went.

Not saying Jarvis is a top tier WR but Cleveland's offense with Baker was a little shakey.

I dont think we necessarily need him because id rather our Rookie get the snaps but Landry def aint washed

So he’s in a better position here with Kamara, Thomas, and Olave?

All of young guys are a year older and more experienced and we drafted the supposedly most nfl ready receiver in the entire draft. So unless MT is out for the season, doesn’t make sense.

On the basis we have a QB that can get him the ball yes.

We have a RB that is going to get a whole lot of throws. And also Michael Thomas. And also a rookie WR that they are going to try to feed the ball too. But yea sure, he’s going to get a whole lot of targets. Lol

You can talk about stats and metrics and measurables and whatever suits your fancy. Jarvis Landry is simply a football player and he makes every team better. He was a steal on draft day and he is a great presence on a team.

Well done. May be one of the best troll posts I’ve seen here in a long time.

I see what you’re doing. And I appreciate it.

I already said we dont need him. I just dont think he is washed.

Still a good player. Just feel like he was on the wrong team. Like Odell.

Im a firm believer that Harty (Harris) is going to be big for this team. He was starting to be money with Jameis

Great routes.
Great hands.
Great after the catch.
Not afraid to come across the middle.
What is there to not like ?

Slow
Older
Duplicative with our top two WRs

I love Jarvis but unless he’s cheap I can’t see him being worth adding

Maybe I’m blinded by my biasness, but look at what he has done with no other receiver threat, and terrible QB Play. I know he played with Odell in Cleveland, but Baker was incapable of throwing it to Beckham.

His numbers are way more impressive than the stats themselves.

Landry had the best season of his career with Baker in 2019 though
