Matthieu is better than Byrd ever was to be fair
Byrd forced more turnovers in the 5 years he was in Buffalo before we signed him than TM has in his entire career.
And that’s not to disparage TM cause I love him and this signing but Byrd in Buffalo was an insanely good player

Y’all want to act like he’s old and washed up. He’s 29 FFS

I think some are overreacting.
I think there's a few who are going to expect him to be the Honey Badger again. He's been a good player in the NFL, but he's not All-Universe like he was that year at LSU.

It’s possible to be excited and realistic. I’m not expecting him to be his sophomore LSU self but I’m hopeful that he can bring energy and leadership to the defense.

Sometimes players coming home is not a good thing, I hope I'm wrong. Old friends resurface from the past.

What is there to over react about. Saints are going all in on winning and fans are getting excited. Add in that a hometown player is coming home.
Would you prefer the Saints sit back and not try?

I hope you are ended as a ST poster.
You make the site worse if your a paid post generator or just a falcons fan.
Either way TD needs to address or fans like me will post much much less.
Whether they care is completely unknown to me.

3x all pro, leader in the community and locker room, home town hero with plenty left in the tank.

He has only missed one game in the past five seasons which is pretty damn good considering his aggressive style of play.
Way to jinx him. Season ending injury week one for sure.
