Seems like Kirkwood is our 2nd best right now. Definitely not a good thing. We will find a way.

We have won 12 games with "not having a clear #2 or #3 receiver"

Smith is a potential #2 but his toe/foot injury is making it tougher. Hopefully with rest he will be okay.

Also, Ginn should hopefully be back and Meredith showed promise for next season hopefully coming back from injury.

I never thought about it till now...I guess now that you mention it, it is not ideal.

What does this even mean? I know it's an attempt at a joke, albeit a horrible one.

Technically, Kamara is our #2 receiver...even though he plays RB.

You did say receiver, not WR.

I think people are just being short because the OP is beating a dead horse and offers nothing new to discussion.

Like he could have given his thoughts instead of just saying "Thoughts"

Right now its Thomas > Kirkwood > Smith > TLL

but I still think Carr >>>> TLL

I'm not even that big of a Carr fan, but I'd still take him over TLL.

The only thing TLL is good for is a deep pass. He's fumble prone & tiny...this makes him a liability in everything else. He also has subpar hands.

Carr isn't very athletic (compared to TLL), but he's a decent blocker, has good hands, & doesn't fumble like TLL. Carr would actually be a decent WR if he could create more separation.

I just looked. MT has almost 1300 yards receiving and Kamara has 627. After that it's Smith and Watson with 300. Then Hill with 184 and it only gets worse from there. Yikes.

Ginn is a great #2 in this offense. We need him back to keep the safeties off of #13.

I think Simmie Cobbs is more of an addition for the future. I guess it possible, but I doubt CSP/Brees will trust an udfa that has had only a couple months of preparation in this offense. That being said...hopefully I'm wrong & Cobbs ends up helping us in the play-offs.

Agree on Ginn though. He should be the #2 if he comes back.

Hopefully it's Ginn & not LeRibeus that comes back. I think Tom & Clapp can give you similar production to LeRibeus. We might even bring in a vet F.A. that gives us similar production to LeRibeus.

I actually wish that we wouldn't have activated TLL, & just waited for both Ginn & LeRibeus. That was a mistake imo.
