he still hasnt had his hearing with roger to decide how long his suspension will be for so even if the saints sign him it will be for the middle to end of next year at the earliest he will be on the field.

with that said, by that time im sure he will have another mental breakdown at do something to get kicked off the team, most likely something like accuse payton and brees of being racists

so just chill out about the AB visit, they arent signing him, if at all, until after roger announces what his length of suspension will be

EDIT: link added for the dumb arse comments posted below

As Rapoport added, the NFL has made it clear that if a team signs Brown, he's likely to be headed to the Commissioner's Exempt List until his sexual assault investigation is complete. LINK /

Exactly.

Except they will sign him to force Roger’s hand and make a decision

Hasn't he basically been suspended the last 14 games?

How much more time does he need to serve?

I am hopeful the saints wouldn’t sign AB without some discussion with the league office stating he wouldn’t be suspended.

He’s an awful big headache to deal with if he’s just going to be suspended.

If he’s allowed to play, he can still be a headache but his talent far outweighs that.

So why would the Saints bring him in for a workout if he couldn't play this year?

I would bet that random dumbass on a message board knows more than the Saints FO. It just seems so likely!

I think this is what they mean by doing their due diligence. They won’t sign him If it seems like he won’t be able to play.

It would be the most nfl thing ever to have the Saints sign him and goodell suspend him

Due diligence.

While everyone fairly assumes he won't play again, that's not set in stone. So it behooves the Saints to bring him in, and if they want to sign him, at least force the NFL to officially suspend him in the off chance that he could possibly play again this season.

True, but you sign him before Green bay or Frisco does when the NFL wouldn't suspend him.
