Damn tell me this baw didn’t make a story up and then use a child in NICU to troll the city.

That would be a new low even for NOLA haters on this site.

Nah he shouldn’t get to use his kid to shield himself from criticism for an unrelated opinion.

He hates New Orleans and some people don’t, shouldn’t that be the discussion?

Well, this thread took a turn LOL.

I made a post about New Orleans in an extremely irritable moment and only saw it applicable to Saints Talk since there was a game on the same day. Hence, lots of people going into the city and thought I’d remind them to be extra cautious or just not go.

Several pages in and we’re breaking down Delray Beach hahaha

In terms of my OP, the argument can be made that it doesn’t belong here. Fine.

Arguments that can’t be made:
1. New Orleans crime is out of control and not fun to come to a city with so many good things yet have to question every decision and every move to do so

2. Some people in this world have very little empathy and would rather bash people in tough times instead of logically seeing another persons circumstance and respond respectfully even if there’s disagreement.

3. SaintsTalk has proven to have some decent people who think rationally.

Time for everyone to move on and have a great week, I have!

So you get called out and immediately exit the thread.

Wow what a thread. If your son is truly sick I hope he gets better, but this doesn’t pass the smell test.

but you come into Saints Talk with your e-guns blazing and then get defensive when called out about it?

What exactly is he being defensive about? Any person should be rightfully pissed off that their window was smashed during a game (something that literally happens all the time with Saints and Pelicans games).

And the response from other people are "Well that's what you get for parking in New Orleans."

Like it's just something that's acceptable. Complacency by the residents of New Orleans is why the city is the way it it is.

Laissez les bons temps rouler, I guess

This mentality and people like you are more responsible for the city being trash than those breaking into cars.

For starters his window wasn’t smashed during a game.

He said it was smashed at a hospital but hasn’t provided a name for said hospital.

Now he’s been outed as a troll falcons fan and is leaving the thread.

But the nola haters on here “at least he started a conversation”

Definitely weird that he wants to leave thread after the falcons fan comment…

Dude, if you hate the city this much, why don't you stop attending games

Already done. The City was only part of the reason, the state of the game and the NFL was 95% of it.

find another team to cheer for and MOVE THE FRICK ON

Why should I? The Saints logo isn't the reason for the crime, is it?

New Orleans doesn't give a FLYING f**k what you think are feel about it.

Pretty much sums up the problem with New Orleans. Too many problems to count but the residents are too lazy or complacent to fix it. You are the embodiment of the ignorant masses being placated with bread and circuses.
quote:

It's AMAZING how the city lives in your hateful minds RENT-FREE!!!!

I've moved on from this city, but you have a recent visitor to the city voicing his experience and opinion and you attempted to invalidate the content of his message because you didn't like how he said it.

Continue white knighting for your trashy city, I don't care. I'm sure your Overlord Destroya appreciates your service.

You can compare New Orleans to Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta, Baltimore, etc. It doesn't change the fact that New Orleans is a dangerous city and crime is a huge issue.

Look at the photo of girls. Just because one weighs less than the others, it doesn't make her skinny.

Correct.

I never said it was smashed at a hospital. I stayed at a Condo in the CBD. Parked right out front with plenty of lighting, staff 24hrs inside, and didn't matter.

My child is in a NICU. But I'm not going to post all my personal info on location of vehicle, location of my child, and everything else on this board.

A falcons fan is hilarious. I grew up in Louisiana and lived here my entire life minus time for school in Florida. Only thing I'm a fan of in Atlanta is the Braves.

Go ahead and search all of my previous threads/comments if you fools have this much time on your hands to try and prove I'm some falcons fan and a troll.

Leaving the thread, yes. I have a F**ing business to run and don't have time to spend responding to any and every fool on this board.

The city has a lot of good, but the bad outweighs the good currently and that's not much of a debate.

This thread started shitty and continues the same. No one here thinks Nola is the best place to live. Due to my mom’s passing recently I got time to spend a lot with my Sis, BIL, etc. I’m in Jefferson, they are in St Tammany. I kind of wish we could all vote in Orleans. Not that it would make a huge difference, but still that same.

Again man, best wishes for your son and fam.

Bye, Felicia. To the rest of the anti-NOLA twats that insist on interjecting politics into sports - stick to football or go play in OT traffic.

You just displayed your complete ignorance about the US. I have traveled on business and personal vacations to most every city in the US; mostly related to the Space Program

Many were also going to MLB games and I can tell you that there is crime in every city that I have been I have been cautioned to not go into certain areas. The worst were NYC, Chicago, Los Angeles and Detroit. Don't BS us because what I said about Delray Beach crime stats are valid.

One of my best friends owned a construction paving business in Delray. His business was broken into multiple times so he moved it to Atlantis Fl and hasn't had a problem since. If you went to school, there you are BSing us because there are no colleges there. You were exposed already once. You didn't say it was at a Saints game so what has that to do with (supposedly) having a window broken. If I go in my vehicle to another city I park in a safe location.

Also, I would not go anywhere in downtown Miami or Tampa. I lived in Jacksonville and it has become a crime ridden city. It's interesting that you failed to say where you live. For the record I live in Slidell and I have never had a crime problem here. You were exposed already.

Well, if I'm ignorant about the U.S. then why don't you take a look at a map. Delray sits directly above Boca Raton and what do you know? There are 2 colleges in Boca Raton, Fl (Florida Atlantic University and Lynn University). No more than a 5-10 minute drive from parts of Delray to both colleges. So, you've just been exposed for spewing lies. frick off already
