Had a nice surprise this morning. So, just a reminder for all of you headed to any game this year. Drive the biggest piece of shite you own or buy a piece of shite strictly to attend games.

Better alternative, stay your a** home and enjoy a game from your couch without dealing with this ahit hole of a city

What makes you think I’m in Destin?

Currently in the city. And have 2 broken windows and over 1k in stolen goods from the car. So you fricking right I’m concerned about it. You just another reason I should remind myself to never frequent this city again

Did someone put a gun to your head and make you spend the weekend in New Orleans?

What kind of question is this and what does it have to do with anything?

Since you asked. I have a child. In NICU. In New Orleans. Can’t exactly just take him where I please. So no gun to my head, but what father wouldn’t visit their child regardless of the city?

This is just another reminder that people suck(including you) and this city sucks. No matter how much I’d like to be going to the Saints game today, I can’t wait to get out of here.

This obviously happens a lot in NOLA, but i guess I've been fortunate... I go about once a month, and I haven't had this misfortune yet (knock on wood). When I go to the city, I always park at Clarke garage.

Look, I understand you're probably in a really shite mood because of the NICU circumstances, but you come into Saints Talk with your e-guns blazing and then get defensive when called out about it? I hope for the best for your kid, but you need to be a bigger man than this.

@Mr Hangover, he is good, I appreciate it.

Actually, I was in a great mood. He’s doing well, just here for a bit longer. As previously mentioned, you see the crime from afar and are fortunate enough to not be you. Until it is and your perspective is now changed. Love lots of things about the city, including the Saints. But don’t love it enough to deal with this shite ever again.

Didn’t have guns blazing. Just thought I’d recommend avoiding this shite show if possible and enjoy your Sundays another way. Only game that would be worth a broken window in Saints history is the Super Bowl and The Gleason game after Katrina. Until those types of games present themselves as possibilities, I’ll pass

Yep.

I understand.

That Consent Decree really leveled policing there, allowing crime to run amok and put cops in a guillotine to the point nobody worth a shite really wants to work there and the ones not worth a shite don't really want to work there either. So they're constantly understaffed and COVID was like a magnifying glass to an ant pile on a summer day.

I'm glad I don't live within a 60 mile radius of that shithole anymore.

To be fair, you did come in pretty hot and this really isn’t a Saints topic. Probably better off posting this on the OT, usually there are 6 or so Nola is a shite hole topics on the 1st page.

That said, glad your son is doing well and best wishes for him and your family.

You prolly right reading it back. Only Saints relevant since there’s a game today.

I wish your son the best and prayers with him…

Nola has a lot of problems also no doubt.

But coming to saints talk (many of us saints fans grew up here so it’s home no matter how shitty it is…) and just shitting on our city (which I understand bc of your circumstance) and telling us not to go to games to support our team on Saints talk will ruffle feathers usually…

That being said I understand where you’re coming from… Wish your son the best…

Where were you parked at? Try to park in a garage, although I’m not sure that’ll do any good.
