Him playing in Game 4 of preseason with the soon to be unemployed players was beyond stupid. I don’t care how many reps he needed to get. Payton risked an injury for the sake of reps and lost. Just hope it’s minor. Hearing it’s a quad injury.

I’d rather him rest the first two weeks than risk gutting it out. We’re going to need him

I mean, he does. I'd rather this than this happen week 1 and we don't have a plan for it. At least now we know and get people ready and he can come back whenever he's ready during the season.

Sean Payton: Andrus Peat is recovering fine. It's day to day with him.

This could mean anywhere from he is playing this Sunday to his leg is about to be amputated.

Not sure what to take from that.

Sunday is a day.
September 8th, 2020 is a day, too.

its encouraging. day to day on the easiest week of the schedule... vs sounding like could be week to week. I'm ok with this but god damn, stay healthy for a minute peat, you've got legs built like a dinosaur.

The worst part is having to listen to my father crow about what a bad pick he was.
It's like all of his very good production goes out the window when he gets injured.

Hearing Boston Scott, Nate Stupar, Jamerson, Moore and J Will didn’t practice as well, but JT Gray had one 2 hand touch assist in special teams drills.

I know he's been injured more than games missed will say, but he only missed one game each of the past two years.

People are over exaggerating how much he's hurt.

Saints G Andrus Peat was participating in the early portion of practice open to the media Thursday -- but we'll see if he participated in full-team drills when the injury report comes out. Backup G/T Jermon Bushrod was absent Thursday.

It is great to be in a position where people are injury-melting because of a pulled quad.
