I have been watching football since 1980.

Who does AK resemble when he runs?

- Eric Dickerson
- Gayle Sayers

I have never seen someone run quite like him.

Faulk for sure. The way he jump cuts, always moving his feet, effortlessly gliding in between missed tackles.

Not really like Barry Sanders at all. Kamara is a lot less flashy. Kamara is more minimalistic and efficient in his elusiveness. He makes small adjustments in his direction and eludes defenders with a step. Bush tried to be more like Barry Sanders than Kamara does, imo.

No we and the press tried to label him Barry Sanders but he could not run through the tackles earlier in his NFL career. AK makes these moves like Barry did. Imo

I just don't see the same dancing and flashy moves that Sanders had. They were both incredibly elusive but in pretty different ways. Kamara is smoother. He makes a small cut and suddenly his path is directly behind the back of the defender, heading upfield. Sanders was more sudden. He would make a lightning quick big juke or spin and would be laterally in a completely different place than he seemed to be before. The actual moves they use, though both based on quickness, seem pretty different to me.

Not sure if I have ever seen anyone similar to AK to be honest. He has his own style.

To be completely honest Pierre Thomas had a similar running style but Kamara is much more athletic.

He has the same smooth running style of Tony Dorset. He doesn’t have Dorsett’s top end speed, but his ability to break/slip tackles is an skill that Dorset wishes he had.

He really is like none other.
