I'll check it out this season and give it a try.

I haven't watched the NFL this year outside of the Saints because of how bad the officiating has gotten. Unfortunately I still got a heavy dose of that...

So I definitely welcome an interesting new football league to casually watch.

I’ll check it out. Hope it does well just to give the NFL some kind of competition.

yep, i will and if its any good im in, same goes for xfl

i liked the xfl "game" but hated the WWE show crapola they did, if the xfl just sticks to just football this time, then they can do well. they damn near made it last time but the WWE part killed it because thats not what people want with football, they want it taken seriously

Which is why the NFL is primed to lose a ton of market share to either the AAL or the XFL (if they could both eventually merge like the AFL and the NFL then it would get real interesting).

After kneel-gate, and now this farce NFCCG and Superbowl, this is the right time to debut a league. A LOT of people are going to check it out. If they put out a good product and consistent talent, the NFL might have a problem, and good riddance.

If I was the AAL/XFL, I would immediately put a rule in, about pass interference and the replay, etc, and be very public about it.

How did this league not pony up the money for a guy like Tebow? Tebow has a huge fan base, and he would immediately generate interest

Let them both play their inaugural seasons and then the leagues need to merge and build some major momentum heading into their 2nd season.

The NFL’s butthole will begin to tighten IF it turns out to be a good product

most definitely. gonna take a few games in for sure. we live close enough, so actually pretty excited about it. supposedly the last smaller league (whatever that was) that played at the liberty bowl was a ton of fun to go see. already checked out some gear and tickets in "the hub"

Are most on here going to be rooting for Memphis, due to former Tigers on their roster?

I'm gonna pull for Memphis bc I'd rather go watch a game there than Birmingham even though state players there
