I don’t know how other fans feel, but the dude is my all time favorite Saint. Dude just does his job, is always smiling, doesn’t post stupid cryptic shite on social media, seems like an awesome teammate, puts the team first, etc. The stories of him riding his bike around NOLA and to the games makes me like him even more.

He got better after getting paid. That’s rare.

No doubt... he just seems like a down to earth, simple dude who loves the game

Our fan base is pretty intolerable and somehow stands up for guys like taysom (who has been pretty horrible) and bashes guys like Kamara (who has only been a superstar since the moment he stepped on the field for us). There were a ton of guys who preferred Austin ekeler over Kamara. That thread still exists. Kamara imo may be one of maybe 3 guys that are irreplaceable on this team.

a bit. but that's also the price paid when there is secrecy involved about injuries. the appearance of his play last year was like he didn't care that much sometimes.

Love the dude. He took a photo with me at the airport a few years ago. He was pissed I asked but still did it.

I'd be pissed if a fat middle-aged white guy geeked out as well...

Also, Southwest flight (as a pro athlete)! Frugal, not cheap.

I’m not really sure there was much “secrecy” about his injuries. He missed multiple games due to his high ankle sprain and the only thing they hid was the partially torn mcl and deep knee bruise. It shouldn’t of taken Payton to come out and tell all of his injuries to realize the guy was playing on one leg.

My niece is married to a UT graduate (he's a veterinarian). AK's success here has been so wonderful to mess with him about.

Requisite: "Eff Tee-Bob woodnah hike da ball ERLEE, weed had loss to Tenn-ah-see!"

Why are people saying secrecy of an injury when the guy was missing games lol? You don’t just sit out games when you’re healthy.

And even when it came out he was that banged up our idiotic fan base was still talking crap and still thought ekeler was better.

Two different things though,” Payton said during his postgame press conference. “Obviously, he had the swollen ankle coming into the game, but he was ready to go. He tweaked his knee.

Payton said this after the Jags game last year. AK then missed a few games

quote:

There was a clear dip in Kamara’s performance after he went down in the Jaguars game; he was credited with 26 broken tackles in his first five games and just 13 broken tackles in the following nine games, per Pro Football Reference (including the playoffs). His rate of 5.3 yards gained per touch was the lowest in his three-year career.

Of course his production dropped tremendously after that

It was pretty clear to anyone with intelligence what was going on
