And we only need a little over a month out of Brown. Keeping a muzzle on that head case for that time frame is doable.

He wasnt ever in check, he was just better at not getting caught, and bringing attention to himself.

then it escalated quickly. lol

And what if it works out? lol what if he is content and finds the harmony hes been looking for and if like, "yes. I want to finish my career as a saint and dedicate myself and athletic abilities to the overall improvement of this team."

This was a defensive move. The Saints are merely forcing the NFL's hand on the matter so that a week from now another team can't sign him and the league do nothing and allow him to play. I think the actual chances he plays this season are slim but I'll be damned if we should let him stay there only for the Seahawks, Niners or Seattle to just sign him and the league let him play.

Wanna give some props to Fun Bunch for being one of the few people on this board with any fricking sense on this topic.

Some of y’all acting like the guy is just some idiot that misbehaved a time or two but can be kept quiet for a couple weeks. Have you people not been fricking paying attention?

Also, the Patriots didn’t get rid of him because of a possible suspension. After giving the guy a chance, he forced them to get rid of him by going after a woman and her children in text messages that were made public.

It shows how much some people are in their own little world when they believe their guys (Payton and Brees) can handle AB even though the Steelers couldn’t do it, the Patriots with Belichick and Brady couldn’t do it, threats of suspension and losing a ton of money hasn’t done it, and being investigated for rape hasn’t done it. But sure, our guys can keep him cool.

I honestly believe anyone who is perfectly fine with this probably has some problems themselves.

AB burned the bridge with Kraft, not belicheck or brady. Brady wanted kraft to bring him in and was pissed when they released him. He likes almost all of AB’s Instagram posts and even comments on some.

When AB issued an apology to kraft and the patriots

quote:

I liked him. We had a great rapport when we were here,” Brady told the Herald. “I’m trying to support him to be the best person that he can be, that’s all.”

What do you think the worst thing that can happen if we brought Brown in? Please answer

Michael Thomas was openly supporting him on Twitter when AB was going off the rails. Does he have problems ?

Ruin our season.
Piss off MT13.
Befriend AK41 and lead him down a dark path that makes him toxic.
Besmirch Drew and CSP who the city loves.
Be a distraction.
File grievances and lawsuits against the team or NFL.
Sexually assault the women of southeast Louisiana.
Threaten women of southeast Louisiana.
Make everything about himself which causes dissension and discord and brings us back to the days of things like Joe Horn and Willie Roaf fighting in the locker rooms and Wayne Gandy sitting in a recliner, etc.
Forget to take his medicine and legitimate harm someone.

This only works if the Saints sign him and lock him down. If they “inquire”, the league can say “as of now - he’d be suspended”.

Then a week later someone else can grab him and the league can clear him.

You need to realize Thomas, Kamara and Brown are all cut from the same cloth. Make everything about himself? Lol like Mike Thomas retweeting 100 tweets about himself after the game.. never see one about the team. Show up on game day and you can be all about yourself, no one cares.

Tom Brady is the GOAT leader and endorses Brown. Brees and CSP eat up guys who put in work like brown does.

How much damage do you think this guy can do in a month? Why didn’t he wreck the Patriots, who have gone 12-3 ?

Do you think the Saints would bring in Brown if Brees or CSP didn’t think it was right? Most important do you not think these guys want to win?

He really is.

Yet, I find myself still attracted to his ability and wonder if we could deal with him for about 6 weeks.

I say we give it a shot.

It saddens me that you can’t see the difference between Antonio Brown, MT13 and AK41.

What do you think the difference is?

MT13 was vocal on twitter supporting AB during his spat with the Steelers. “Secure the bag” at all costs. They are all looking out for #1 first and foremost. AK, same. You think they give two shits about AB and his wrongdoings?

Fans think they understand the business, locker room, what goes on between the lines. These players are all the same, you just don’t know it.

They all stay around long enough to be the villain in the eyes of a fan base.

Did Kamara or Thomas not show up to practice the week before a huge game?

Did Kamara or Thomas FB Live from the locker room when told not to do so?

Did Kamara or Thomas force their way to another team?

Did Kamara or Thomas not show up to mini camp, then show up to mini camp then leave mini camp then show up, then not practice because of a helmet issue they knew about for years?

Did Kamara or Thomas make a video with recordings of a phone call with their coach?

Did Kamara or Thomas post fines and such and refuse to show up to camp?

Did Kamara or Thomas have sexual assault charges levied against them?

Did Kamara or Thomas make intimidating text messages (including pictures of peoples children) to people with lawsuits against them?

Did Kamara or Thomas have a melt down on social media and call out former players and an owner?

Do Kamara or Thomas continue to post about women and their fathers on twitter, etc?

No, they are not insane. They may be business driven individuals, which is fine. But they don’t do any of the crazy things that Brown has done.

You rationalizing Brown’s behavior is ridiculous.

I’m not rationalizing it. The point is, guys like Kamara and Thomas do not give a literal shite about any of the shite you just posted.

Do you think this is the first “headcase” to exist in the NFL? No. It’s all sensationalized with social media. And you’re feeding into it like a teenage girl. None of it matters on the field

it isn't gonna happen.

i mean the Saints could sign him but you really think that fricking a-hole Goodell is gonna let him play? for the Saints?

if he did then we should win it all.

I honestly believe anyone who is perfectly fine with this probably has some problems themselves.

before social media there were plenty of players who were "pieces of shite" that helped teams get over the top.

fricking Darren Sharper was for us in 2009.

but i'll believe this shite when i see it.

no way in hell the league lets Brown play for us if he signs.

there is a reason that he is still available...
That being said, the NFL would probably not let him play either way

Couldn't agree more. Let him go elsewhere to find himself.
