Even if there were mutual interest, would he even be allowed to play? I was under the impression he would be shutdown by the league as soon as he signs somewhere.

When the Pats rumors started up recently, I remember this being brought up on ESPN I think that all these AB rumors were dumb because he would be immediately suspended.
