Even though we lost, still the best football I ever seen. If we would've won, I know for a fact we would've won the Superbowl because that was the best Saints team I had ever seen

Every time I watch Alex Smith I always get flashbacks to that bootleg keeper to the left.

Designed play that the 49ers specifically came up with to against a Gregg Williams overload blitz. There was only one player on that side of the field to make a play & he was taken out by a pulling Joe Staley. What was really bad was that Williams showed his hand first presnap. The 49ers called timeout & Williams still called for the overload blitz. He gave them exactly what they wanted.

Should have been the second Saint's Super Bowl year. Brees engineered two come from behind drives in the second half. shite.

The most upset I have ever been after a sporting event.

I'm still rustled to this day.

Worst part, I finished 1/9 thinking "At least I have my Saints." Then I had nothing. Toughest sports week ever.

greatest show on turf!

we will be haunted by that ending clusterfuack until we make another SB. yes, i know we had 5 turnovers that game also. we kill the G men at home a second time in the NFCCG as we were 9-0 at home that year including the playoff win over the lions and we woulda outscored the pats. their D was nothing great that year.

Two 4th quarter leads blown in the last 4 minutes.

it's definitely up there. too many to list, but, the emotional roller coaster during those 4 scoring drives combined by both teams the last 4 minutes was tough to take.

Had we held on, where would the Graham TD rank amongst greatest plays in team history?
