Damn. Dallas took Jaylon Smith early in the second.

They must really want an F for this draft.

How can anybody say this is a terrible pick? We got our DT. No pass rushers worthy. Thomas is a very good WR and can be a feature guy which is what we need. It's a great pick and a great value. Amazing some of yall. We got Rankins AND Thomas...and yall still find a way to complain.

Should have taken Treadwell first and Reed with this pick but I'll take it.

Would have honestly preferred this if we were gonna get a WR in first two rounds. Thomas at least has the measurables and is a legitimate red zone target though I guess.

If rather reach for a linebacker than a slow wideout just because Colston is gone.

We still have plenty of time to snag plenty more offense and an offensive lineman. People need to relax.

We can get a decent guard in the fourth or fifth. And of course another DT or DE in the third. And a depth corner in the fourth of fifth.

I really wanted alexander from clemson

There are some really good players still on the board. We should be able to get 3 starters if they don't go full retard again in the third.

This is another pick that helps the Saints right away. The Saints have ignored the WR position for far too long, making do with free agents and players you never heard of. Beyond Colston and Cooks, the Saints have held this position together with bubble gum and duct tape.

This is the NFL, and the passing game rules all. The Saints need threats so that they can 1. spread the ball around and be less predictable and 2. get people open, so Brees won't get hammered. Pass protection starts with getting open.

Two good picks so far. I want more linemen (either side) in the next few picks.

I also wouldn't mind Whitehair. I think he is a beast but would feel bad if saints used 2 of first 3 pick on offense.

Hindsight is 20/20. Before the draft it was thought a very small chance Reed would fall to 47.

I have warmed up to the pick. If Brees and Sean can improve drive efficiency and scoring it will pay huge dividends for us.

Apparently you didnt watch our offense last year. We struggled ALOT at critical moments.

Absolutely. You have to think with the exception of maybe a receiving back specialist, a change at 4th oror 5th wrwr, and a second te that we probably have the guys we're going to roll with for the rest of Drew's career.

MT was the highest rated receiver, by multiple draft experts, in this draft. Some of you people....

Loving this draft! Two slam dunk pics that will contribute immediately. If we land a solid G it's A+
