No shat. I'll take it. Solid pick that fills a big need.

So we only want ONE 3 tech on the roster? You need to rotate those guys, or hell, put them both on the field on 3rd down.

Joseph is a boss at S. Woodson retiring it was a need.
Man, I really don't want Atlanta to pick Jack even though I think they will.

Just to add I was NOT complaining about having Rankins and Fairley. That's why I said it's a good problem.
I was just curious how they are fitting them on the field and where they play.
And as pointed put Fairley is a one year at this point.
And yeah you can get a run stuffer later. Not sure I see one I like in this draft though, which is why I'm resigned to our usual dose of Jenkins on a third of the snaps.

For what it's worth, Gil Brandt had Rankins ranked No. 11 and Lawson, this board's weird obsession at 24.
Lawson is overrated and an injury risk.
Obviously, we aren't the only team worried about Jack also.
Tunsil is a character concern at a non-position of need. Rankins was the right decision.

Browns just made a good pick. I'm in shock.

Put them both on the field especially on passing downs. We might pick a NT in this draft as well.

And I wouldn't be shocked to see Rankins playing strongside DE when Cam needs a breather.

True, though Cam rarely takes a snap off.
I could definitely see a line of Rankins, Jenkins, Fairley, and Jordan when we want to go big too.

Sheldon Rankins was a great selection. It is time to fap! Go ahead and melt all you dissenters. Too bad.

Decker didn't bring his fine arse girlfriend...frick this guy

My opinion: this is a guy who can help the Saints. Conservative pick, but face it: the Saints need A LOT of help on defense, and it has to start somewhere.
You can't build defenses with one or two flashy players, or project players. You need big bodies that build your depth, your foundation. That's what this is.
The Saints are a soft team. I applaud any and every effort to get bigger and tougher.

I hope he makes it to the Pro Bowl this year as an ultimate "frick you" to all of the cry babies.

He's a bit undersized, but hell so is Aaron Donald and he's a beast
Posted on 4/28/16 at 9:04 pm to SpqrTiger
Definitely agree with most of that.
Big body on offense early last year and big body on defense early this year.
That's how you build a foundation.

I hate Atlanta with a passion, but they have had some solid drafts lately.
