Easily one of the most complete and utter domination I've witnessed. You legit made the goat coach and goat qb quit. They had 0 answers.

Sharper was a menace that season, always flying around the ball. That entire secondary was filthy looking back.

Just about every defensive player on the 09 roster ended up with the ball in their hands at some point and many of them on multiple occasions. And that’s not even to mention the absurd amount of defensive TDs we scored. It was so awesome.

The defense was underrated for much of the season and not consistently ranked. That’s because their dominance showed up in “take aways” and clutch performances rather than total yards and points allowed…

I will never forget chris Mcalister being signed, balling out on MNF, forcing an overtime fumble against Washington then being released a couple days later. Dude was a pro’s pro.

I wished my grandpa lived to see that season but I know he was watching from above. My grandparents were OG season ticket holders, starting at Tulane Stadium, and never missed a game. We went to his gravesite after the Superbowl win to make sure it was decorated and celebrated like he would have wanted it
