No, not interested in arguing about the Saints on this board. And, in general, I think that certain ownership practices might work in one league and not in another.

It’s the same group of executives about to fire another coach after 1 year. Like 18mo apart. That’s scary. Don’t love it, me

I also think running a top end NFL team is 100x harder than NBA.

Feels like there are 5x the moving parts in an NFL org than an NBA org.

It's always worth remembering how wrong Lester and Chad were about our ownership and front office.

Hopefully we will luck up and receive another gem of a draft pick (H. Jones) this year.

Ending up with Herb Jones from a Top 6 pick is NOT lucky.

Herb is a great player but he is not the person people think he is. Herb is closer to the minimum of what we expect from Top 6 > the maximum.

Agreed, love herb but you want this trey murphy type of player at minimum.

Even herb would be a disappointment as a top 6 pick

I see that now. Still doesn't change the fact that many over value Herb or try to compare him to players that shouldn't be compared.

*always injured.

There's many things people can say about BI/ Zion but trashing their on court abilities is probably the dumbest argument anyone can make.

Lester, you are the absolute champ of all of TD when it comes to remembering slights.

You don't get to be called amazing if you only play 25% of the games in a season. If you can't be tough enough to contribute more regularly, go somewhere else!

You also don't get to be called garbage/ bad when you are great the 25% of games you play.

Being unreliable is a completely different conversation than Zion on the court. You are calling someone "bad" for being unreliable when in reality he is one of the most reliable players in the nba on the court.

He has been unreliable, that's it. He isn't garbage, bad, or even a liability as a player. Seperate yall's emotions and talking points.

We are bad when Zion ISN'T on the court, not when he is. You can't call someone "garbage" because he's so good that you despise when he doesn't play.

Beyond retarded mind set

Why can't Z be amazing this season? He is healthy and surrounded by shooters.
Will this amazement turn into victories or empty stats? Z needs to develop bb skills to be an amazing player. Additionally he needs doses of maturity and professionalism.

You're right. I actually realized it after I posted. Point still stands. Zion has not affected winning since coming back.

They also have not played him over 28 minutes in a game since coming back.

People want to tank for a higher pick, this is what you do.

If they were playing Zion 35 minutes and winning people would be complaining about that too.

He's minus-16 over the last 5 games.
