I guess I can only be thankful it’s not fricking worse.

It’s time for BI to stop being a bitch and to come lead us these next three weeks. It’s time

I hate to be that guy…

But with him being limited in physical activity with that hammy, he’s really going to have to go on a much stricter diet until he gets back on the floor. That makes me fricking nervous

My goal for the rest of the regular is to just stay out of the play in.

I don't care about where we are in the top 6. Healthy, I think we can beat anybody in the west. Just avoid the randomness of the play in.

He will be back in 4 weeks. Y'all acting like he missing significant time this season. We will be fine with BI coming back and actually having depth in your roster. We won a bunch of games without Zion last year.

He didn’t just get in shape this offseason, he hired a personal chef and trainer. I’d be more worried about losing conditioning than weight gain. Send him back to Portland so he can live in the pool again.

Didn’t take long for me to be proven right, baws!

Quote from that October thread, “Zion will miss more games this season because of another injury or some other dumb reason.”

I don’t know what you have seen from our medical staff in the past or even our luck to be that optimistic.

I hope you are right, because I’ve got tickets for Feb4 but the negative Nancy In me is afraid we won’t see him again until after ASW

In fact, every game that we won last year was without zion

Unfortunately this will be a hit to the record and we probably go from battling for 1st in the west to 4th or 5th but as long as he is able to get healthy and back on the court in relatively quick fashion we will be fine.

No, it isn't. Frick Lekween and Toni, too.

Godspeed Zion, and quick and full healing.

I don't think Zion will do 68+ games a season at this point (maybe if he changes his playstyle) but you can build around him.

This fricking team lol. At this point I’m not opposed to giving him the kawhi treatment. “Load management” just rest him every other game when he comes back

131 players did 68+ games.
Not bad on 605 players.

Reevaluated in three weeks means he’s out 2 months.

Pels still stacked. League still fricked when at blender.

I feared a lot worse when he never reappeared on the bench in the 4th. A month is not ideal but at least he won't be coming back right as the playoffs get started. We will have time to reacclimate. We can likely kiss a top seed goodbye. Goal is a top 6 seed, probably what it should have been all along. Get everyone healthy for a March and April run
