That window closed
Won’t get much return but it’s time to cut bait
He’s been a weight on this team since he was drafted

Zion is who he is and will never be anything else.

He's a potential dream player that isn't interested in reaching that potential. He's comfortable where he is. and considers himself having "made it".

You can not coach determination and heart.

Zion isn't interested in playing for this joke arse franchise/coach.

Can you blame him?

It was on him in the early years, but being surrounded by utter incompetence and living in a city begging the state for short term issuance of bonds to make payroll and pay the trash collector takes a toll.

Shop Zion and the Pels out.

If he would try harder and condition himself better on another team that tells you all you need to know about Zion.

He's not a winner. Certainly not a superstar type professional athlete.

I do agree it probably time to move on from Z. I honestly would love to see him play in another coaches system.

Interested ins seeing if another coach could find a way to create more space for him with designed plays and not just a screen and downhill and every one off ball at a stand still.

Zion trade thought of the day.

Zion and Missi to the Detroit Pistons

Ivey, Duren, and a 1st round pick to Pelicans.
Pistons aren't looking to extend either of them, at least that was reported.

Murray / Fears
Ivey / Poole
Murphy / Herb
Queen / Bey
Duren / Matkovic

Agree but you have to know we will get literal pennies on the dollar. PLUS imo, he will have to go to a lottery bound team to ensure we get back in the lottery. Dooomars gifting a lottery pick may go down as worst GM move of all time.

Lol at the simps in this thread blaming the franchise more than Zion for him being a fat worthless oaf who doesn't take his conditioning seriously.

Needs a hard headed coach like SVG. He played his best year under him. Too bad BI couldn’t handle it.

I think we just saw what the future of the team looked like last night with Queen. Queen needs to be the offensive hub to allow him to blossom. It won't be possible with Zion in the long run.

At the end of the day, Zion's presence and limitations as a shooter clogs the lane for the entire team. As good as Zion is, he's just too limited in too many areas to be a #1 option.

Send Zion and Hawk out, get whatever we can. Play Fears and Queen as much as possible and build around them , Trey, and Herb.

he is a one level player needs to develop a middy and shoot 3's periodically...and learn to drive and dish. never saw so many shots get blocked at the rim in the first few games. do agree lets get a top ten pick for him and a good player and move on

You mean you enjoy watching fast paced basketball and teams getting into their set with 18 seconds left on the shot clock instead of 10? ZIon is incapable of sprinting, unlike Karlo last night.

we had 25 fast break points last night to Charlotte's 11. Sure is nice when everyone hustles back on defense.

We averaged 15 fast break points in the other 5 games Zion played in, and gave up on average of 21 fast break points in those 5 games.
