And with the depth this team has, 25-30 minutes is enough.

Agreed, I will be annoyed if he doesn’t play at all, but won’t be bother by limited minutes in game one.

Doubt he plays his full minutes, BUT he will be a force when he's in there. They'll probably let him play in spurts and go full out.

Hmmm, I wonder what happened to him practicing Tuesday night.

"In theory, his quarantine would end Tuesday afternoon-ish," Griffin said on Monday. "The problem is he has to test and get the results before they release him."

also said it's not a guarantee zion plays thursday...

"Literally any player on our roster who went 13 days without doing any physical activity, it isn't going to be a given that we would just cut them loose in that next game," Griffin said. "Particularly a player that generates as much torque as he does. So we will see where he's at."

frick.

That sounds very, very suspiciously like he will not play on Thursday.

I think that the training staff will put him through some physical tests tomorrow evening and see how he does and make a decision based off that.

I don't think that we know whether Zion did any cardio at all while he was out.

Woj just said on SportsCenter that it's possible that Zion could get tested and get the results back today before practice and if that were to happen that he could practice today. Sounds like a long shot though.

I think if it’s a possibility, the NBA and the Pelicans will make it happen.

They said something about this when he returned. Basically his 4 days ends today but they thought it was unlikely he'd get the test results back in time to be officially cleared to do anything with the team today.

I strongly believe those results are going to be in, for Zion is the future face of the NBA.

They don’t do rapid tests?

That’s wild.

I hope you're right. He didn't say anything new in terms of Zion playing Thursday, but his tone made it sound like he thought it was doubtful IMO with only one practice.
