Head coach Willie Green said Zion Williamson will be out tomorrow night and they are still waiting on the results of imaging.

Said BI has been getting on the court more but isn’t ready yet. Larry Nance Jr did not practice today and is “probably out” vs Houston. #Pelicans

Of course. The game I'm traveling to town for with my son. But hopefully we can still get the win.

Maybe I am just paranoid, but that does not sound good.

While it could mean the same thing from the same thing Willie said, one report about gathering information about imaging sounds much worse than waiting on results of imaging.

It doesn't at all.

It doesn't take long at all to get imaging, they probably could have known last night or this morning.

It's just 1:30 and they said expect an update later today. When it's bad and they go for the 2nd opinion, which still could happen, that usually adds a day or 2 to the announcement, no? This seems in line with getting initial results for this team I think.

Don't know when the team got back in town, but it's possible they waited until mid-day today to get the MRI done.

Man I hate this kind of injury. Wasn’t it basically a non-contact injury?

And I feel like those doctors know the deal within minutes of examining him in the locker room. Obviously not to the fullest extent, but they can assess the overall picture pretty quickly.

Fingers crossed.

I took my son to the Pacers game and was upset beforehand Daniels, Ingram, Jones, TM3 and Zion were all out.

But, we have a great young exciting team and this game was still a lot of fun. My son had a great time and the arena being packed added to the atmosphere.

Yeah that’s definitely worded like we’re looking at multiple weeks and it’s not a minor strain.

Hope it was just awkward wording though
