Zion/Erling- not Pels, but Pels...

Probably my worst post, but posting anyway. Watching Erling Haaland be the centerpiece of a team at 22 years old making history winning a treble. WTF is wrong with our youth today in the states? I'm 38, but a boomer at heart. Zion (and Ja) throwing away talent. Not the same sport, not the same continent, but the pundits (not on this board) have to stop playing the age/immaturity card.
And I like Zion and am naive and still want it to work out.

Are there actually people who think his getting his dick wet caused a hamstring injury?
ETA: Also, from which generation is Magic Johnson? People are the same as they’ve ever been dude, you just know about more of them now.
Zion can father a 50 man NFL roster for all I care. As long as he stops eating and plays basketball, I don’t care what he does

He’s got a point tbh
If we weren’t Pels fans, there would not be nearly as much optimism bias regarding Zion turning things around here on this board.

I’m not saying we shouldn’t be concerned about his physical fitness, but to insinuate it has anything to do with “the corruption of the youth” is the dumbest shite I’ve ever heard.
The older generation has been saying these things about the younger generation since some dude decided to pick up a piece of clay and write some shite down

Probably not but if the fact that he likes banging skanks factors in your opinion on whether he can be a NBA star then you're a moron.

It’s definitely a maturity and emotional intelligence issue that probably trickles down to his diet, stretching, sleep, practice, film, etc habits.
I’ve got no issue with this by itself, but like someone else said in another thread, he’s got his order of operations incorrect. Be healthy, dominate and win and none of this even matters or raises questions or concerns. He should be trying to simplify his life right now, not overcomplicate with extremely trashy and low value women.
And comparing Holland to Zion is technically fair as well. Holland has 31 million IG followers. Z has 1/6th the amount and can barely handle the spotlight he generates.

Ask erling about his youth mom and dad an siblings, now do zion and JA
The reality is is America is the void of a family unit.

It’s more proof that zion is immature as frick and he isn’t going to change.

You bring up a good comparison, and made me think of a different view..
After winning champs league/treble, haaland was interviewed by legend Thierry Henry - at 22 yrs old , haaland asked Henry what areas he could improve his game.. just after an amazing season and winning everything. Shows humbleness and maturity
Zion hasn’t won shite and still will not take advice of the former legends of the NBA

Tiger Woods, Magic Johnson, Wilt Chamberlain and an entire host of dudes who couldn't keep it in their pants while they achieved greatness say hello.
The fitness issue is an issue to us. His personal life is his concern. I'm not Zion's daddy, I'm a basketball fan

Zion knows who is biological father is. He shouts him out regularly on Father’s Day.

Those things are def not like the other.
It’s just another sign of poor decision making and immaturity. He won’t change.
