Steph Curry is 100 times better than anything we have on the team and the NBA is a star league. As long as he's playing at his normal level, they are a .500 type team. We have to prove we can be a .500 type team w Zion as the best player without a Jonas, Ingram, CJ, Jose, Naji, Dyson roster carrying him.

The word delusion has been watered down on here to the point that any positive news/ bright spot is considered full blown delusion.
The concept of everyone being delusional is actually just an effect to the real cause/ cultural identity which is fans having a complete a loser mentality with weak emotional restraint.
Losers who kick themselves when they are down and assume they will always be losers are the worst type of losers.
Self-fullfilling prophecy is legit.
Obviously things are out of fans control in this scenario but the mentality is telling and its sad that y'all want others to be like you.

We’re certainly not better than the Jazz; unless Danny intentionally unloads a bunch of players for more draft picks and they don’t try to win.

I tried to trade Poole + (2) 1sts for LaVert+ Gary Trent to get off that bad contract but the Bucks said they wanted DeAndre Jordan too. That's where I draw the line.

Out of the (5) players who were on our team 2 years ago (2) of them were essentially rookies in Missi/ Karlo.
So everyone saying "run it back" are specifcally talking about (3) players named Herb/ Trey/ Zion. Out of those players fans would riot if we traded 2 of them.
So anyone who says "run it back" is specifically referencing ONLY Zion and our projected overall record and ignoring the other 14 players on the team.
(1) player = running it back.
It has absolutely nothing to do with us replacing the other 14 player on the team.
12 new players could step up and make Z irrelevant but those 12 new players represent "running it back" due to 1 other person still being on the roster.
Run it back = the assumption of failure and has 0 to do with the actual Roster.
Just another example of how the mentality and bias of the fans are disconnected from certain realities.

The Pelicans return 12 players who won, what 26 games last season? And you're expecting them to make huge improvements to 35 at bare minimum.
Because if they can't even get to 30, which according to Vegas, they're not projecting to. Then you need to root against them. It's the only way they're going to change anything

I'm confident we are putting together the right pieces to eventually reach a Second Round Western Conference Playoff appearance. This is due to the fact that we added 5 new players over the last 2 years while keeping our Top 3 assets.
Are you trying to insinuate that adding a 16pt scorer, (2) Top 10 rookies, and a 15pts/ 6reb/ 5ast ex all star PG is a step back?

Well fans keep seeing the same players with the same results no matter who is running the front office. At some point a big change is needed and it certainly isn't Joe Dumars.
So with this front office, the only way you're going to see big changes is if they're publicly embarrassed. That's why you should active fan against then to get those results
