Washington waived Sidy Cissoko. I liked him in the draft, still only 20. I’d love to take a flier on him somehow

Could see the Hornets taking Nurkic if a 1st rounder attached.

Weird trade, isn’t Reggie better than Butler? Lol

LOL Getting off Reggie Jackson > Ingram.

Galactic may just have to accept nobody wants Ingram. Watch the Raps not even re-sign him.

Reggie wasn’t paid much and wasn’t really playing. The trade gives the Sixers a bunch of seconds to play with for a very late first.

Butler may add some size to the Sixers guard rotation. It’s obvious they’re getting the guards in place for the mid to long term, as they’re all under 25, and they needed size to complement Maxey and McCain.

Very late? That assumes Embiid actually plays next season.

It’s the less favorable of Oklahoma City, Houston (if 5-30) and LA Clippers in 2026.

Probably late 20s given OKC’s current crew.

We are probably about to see a flurry of small deals

Believe so with a Hunter deal as the last “big” one

Atlanta should be interested in Bruce Brown IMO. This works for everyone and gets Cleveland out of the tax, they would just have to figure out draft comp to Detroit. Gets us around 1.6 million below the tax where we can convert Boston immediately

Cavs: Hunter

Detroit: Niang

Hawks: Levert, Brown

Pels: Capela

Why do we need Capela for Brown outside of small cap savings?

I’m more concerned with potentially dumping Olynyk.

B/c for some reason people think that a center who literally doesn't shoot outside of 5' from the basket is helpful to Zion, simply b/c he was a good rim protector, b/c they do'tn understand that rim protection starts with your defensive scheme and perimeter defense.
Capela is taken off the court at the end of games b/c he can't shoot, can't defend the perimeter and play switching defense, and is one of the worst FT shooters in the league.

But sure he'll work here with Zion.

Still leaves the abilty to dump KO, but worst case KO can play the 4 for us, and Capela can be primary backup/mentor to Yves as he is the type of guy Yves should be striving to be, and he’s still an expiring salary.

I’m more concerned about dumping Brown because I know Willie will run him out there for 35 minutes a night and park Hawk on the bench

Nets seem content with keeping Cam Johnson unless someone gives them the 2 frps they want. If he stays that’ll help us with our tank competition
