Bucks still need to send over $9 more out in salary to make it work.

Any chance Middleton opts out of his player option next year? I wouldn’t mind taking him on granted he opts out. We could send Ingram to Miami, and snag a pick out of it. Also gets us out of the tax this year.

If he doesn’t opt out, then you can still try to figure out what to do with CJ’s and Middleton’s contract before next year’s deadline.

No. Hell no. Why would he do that?

Saw that Butler was suspended again for missing the team plane. Hopefully for their sake they dumb that guy soon.

Pipe dream…I know

But if they manage to move CJ for something useful, then you would only have Middleton for next year. You can try to move him at the deadline, or let him expire.

5 team deal huh?

Phoenix
Miami
Milwaukee
Detroit
Pels

It’s so crazy it might actually work

This would work financially for all teams involved, we would just have to figure up with Detroit who gets what picks:

Phx: Butler

Miami: Ingram, Middleton

Milwaukee: Beal, Beasley

Detroit: Duncan

Pels: Lopez, Pat C (gets us just below the tax)

Between Phoenix and Milwaukee they have 4-1sts they can send out to make it work

A guy quoting a Suns beat writers podcast with the beat writer saying Phoenix believes they are close to a 5 team deal for Butler, but two teams are hesitant about jumping in.

Would make sense for Pels and Detroit to act hesitant to try to get more, not many teams that could help facilitate something like this.

If it’s true about teams having interest in Javonte Green, then maybe we could get another 2nd for him.

Then that above trade would leave room to sign Boston to the roster and still stay under the tax.

I think Theis is someone that will garner some interest for a 2nd rounder or two also as we get closer to the deadline

I don't know about this penalty, 2 games for missing a flight. I don't know how late he was. He makes 600k a game. So thats a 1.2M penalty. He can charter a plane for less than 50k last minute. It'd be different if he missed the game or other activities. That just seems harsh and excessive..

Riley is making a point. Whether the NBAPA can overturn it is another matter.

Surprised Beal isn’t interested in Miami with his Florida ties.

Milwaukee was the favorite to land CJ a while back.

If Milwaukee wants to put the two of them back together, I’ll listen depending on the price.

I see them being a horrible defensive team even with Giannis out there.

Would need at least 2 decent 1sts to do that deal I would think.
