This is how every season will go. Both BI and Zion will never play more than 30-40 games in a season. Call me crazy and it will never be done due to fear of taking risks in small market, but trading one of them for more reliable players would benefit this franchise more than anyone on here will admit. Which adds up to 25-35% of games with both on the court playing at the same time, if you get lucky.
Almost 4 full years of an unreliable “all star” duo that are no good to the team if they cannot play.

Kind of amazing at the delusion around here in terms of downvotes on your post.

The writing may not be officially on the wall, but it’s obvious this team has an injury history dating back 20 years that’s unexplainable.

There’s been no signs of improvement in those regards, so don’t understand the downvotes.

You think we’ve had the same training / medical staff as we did 20 years ago? 10… or even 5….

I’ll give them 1 more season. If they cant stay healthy then trade them. I was a griff hater early on but he’s built a great supporting cast for these stars and now the burden is all on them. If they can’t stay on the court then we should trade them for stars who can

Actually, you're wrong. They've already done it. In '20-'21, both BI & Ingram played exactly 61 games each. They'll probably never play more than that 60-ish mark, but 98% of the league's stars don't either. But forecasting never more 30-40 games for a 22 y/o and a 25 y/o is just nonsense.

This small market team already did in '20-'21.

How is reliability guaranteed? I'd love to have Mikal Bridges on this team. Fits the Pels perfectly and has played 72 to 82 games regularly. But all it takes is one achilles, ankle roll, or lisfranc fx and reliability becomes just an unguaranteed projection.

Don't let this losing streak's frustration cloud your logic by giving unsubstaniated hot takes loaded with absolutes of "never".

such a bad take- saying "this is how every season will go" let's see how we do this season... in case you forgot we are the 4 SEED IN THE WEST heading into All-star break?????? I would love for that to be the case every season

Ahh yes the old “there hasn’t been any improvement”.

Yes we still have injury issues but some of y’all are forgetting that we are over .500 more than half way through the season without our 2 stars playing many games.

In previous years we didn’t even have 2 star players. In previous years we didn’t have close to a 3rd star that can keep us in games.

Yeah the injuries suck but I’m cool with it because when we are healthy we are good. I’ll take the bad if the good is truly worth it and so far it has been.

I’d much rather be the 5/6 seed with a healthy Zion/ BI for playoffs > 2/3 seed with players out or banged up.

no. actually i and several others could.

there have been many changes in your 20 years.
death of owner. doctors. trainers. players. coaches.
all new at least once and most changed several times. so your idea of one long 20 yr voodoo doesnt hold water. new people in charge.
2. you/we get more info now. no one but medical people knew what a lisfranc break was 20 years ago unless your brother in law had it.

I absolutely HATE New Orleans Sports fans right now! They act like they should win every game no matter injuries or any other logical reason they shouldn't win....

Nola Sports fans come off a spoiled, entitled, children that thinks the other 30+ teams in leagues aren't trying to win just as much as the New Orleans organization! Get a grip people this is entertainment and only 1 team in each league wins at the end of the day! STOP ACTING LIKE SPOILED BRATS!

TBF that’s every fanbase

Especially ones that get accustomed to winning.

I agree though, the hyperbole going on is crazy
