Absolutely, but he could also be paid ten million for an endorsement that might normally pay only four million. Think what you want, but he is not losing money.

That’s it. I knew there was a tax payer, mid level and another one. I forgot what that last one was.

Until we get the details we will have to wait and see I guess.

AD isn't really that charismatic IMO. He might be able to recoup it, but I don't think it's a slam dunk.

I love that Griff got the Wizards to send us 1.1 million in cash to do this.

Do you honestly think Davis will receive less money? I guarantee some Laker fan business owner made it clear to A.D. that he would make good the four million that he would be losing with a future "endorsement deal." Davis didn't have a change of heart. He's just receiving his money a different way.

Isn't this technically a 4 teamer with NOP/LAL/WAS/ATL ?
Posted on 6/27/19 at 2:01 pm to LosLobos111
The ATL trade will be a different transaction.

I don't understand why this wasn't a separate transaction between LA and WAS

Wow. As someone who hasn't followed the team closely, i thought some of the stuff said on here about Davis was sore feelings, but to just give up 4M that you are due is either just stupid or cheating by getting it in a secret deal.

If it is in the latter, the league may investigate and penalize the Lakers.
HOW they penalize them is another question. With the Wolves, they stripped firsts from them, but LA won’t have many firsts anytime soon and we will have swap rights on many of them.

“Waving” money that he will be paid to be in space jam 2

Would be hilarious if they voided any future deal signed with LA from AD

Joel Meyers said on NBA Radio this past Sunday that Gayle bout to drop another $5M on the Pels facility on Airline. Said Griff just wanted new state of the art equipment and she hit him with “what you need” and will expand it.

Unfortunately, they will have enough money to get D-Lo and another starter. They should still have the BAE available if they use all of their cap space, right?
Posted on 6/27/19 at 3:14 pm to cgrand
That makes sense. Gayle knows Zion is the future of NOLA sports after Brees retires. And that you can make a lot of money in the NBA too.
