You don’t have to be close to your teamates or boss but you better show up on time and not have more sick days than actually being in the office. You better not butt heads with other dept trying to help you do your job (training staff). Lets be real you can’t even compare Zion to any other guy working anywhere else. Any other person woukd have been fired from their job 2 years ago. But this is the NBA where teams routinely employ players based off their potential.

Zion not having a relationship with his teammates is all on Zion. The rest of the team seems to get along just fine with each other. I love the way BI and Jose get along.
Who wants to hang out with a lazy, no drive anime fan anyways?!? Well, besides no talent internet hoes looking for a check.
Maybe Windhorst and Zion can be buds. They seem to have some things in common.

I trust windhorst as far as I can throw him.
He's made both trusting him and throwing him a far distance quite difficult over time

The porn star and others who have come out blasting Zion, what exactly are they mad about? Zion is no longer giving them tens of thousands of dollars so he's an a-hole? I can't see any other reason why a porn star would be angry about a dude sleeping around lol.

It feels like the media is just trying to force the trade lol
This is the true motive, but honestly, Zion just doesn't give a frick it seems like. He got paid already.

I don’t know. I mean everytime there is a rumor of pelicans superstar might be traded. Eventually whether its now or later the guy gets traded.

Question is going to come down to what his continuing value is vs what we think we can get back for him.
I don’t necessarily mind sending him to Portland or Charlotte for the right price.
I would resist sending him to the Lake Show or Knicks on general principle.

Well if you love Scoot and thinks hes a superstar(which obviously is a big question) than go get your guy. I get obviously value but at the end of the day you should also get the guy you want. Regardless, if you think Scoot can help turn this franchise around then go get him.

We are going to make a move at some point solely due to the new CBA. Questions come down to when our window is going to be and what we can get for any pieces for anyone not part of that timeline.
Zion is theoretically the centerpiece of the team but he can’t keep his arse on the court. His biggest ability needs to be “availability” with his contract.

Wasn't he at hq yesterday? During the off season??

He’s still an employee and is probably expected to meet with Griff from time to time. It might have had to do with T Spoon, the Trade rumors, or it could’ve been scheduled 4 weeks ago.
Fulfilling an employee obligation doesn’t prove that there is a relationship there.

I asked about who Zions closest with yesterday.
quote:
Who are Zions guys on the team? Ingram is tight with Jose, Naji, Herb, and Trey. Willie seems close with those guys. It is obviously not CJ. Jonas? I’d guess it’s Hayes as they were rooks together. But when you play 29 games in two years it’s hard to put that together.

I think it’s becoming clearer every day that if Zion ever becomes the MVP player he has the potential to be, it will be with someone else

If the team were trading Zion, there would not be all these continuous leaks about how worthless he is.
If the Pels were going to trade Zion, would they have been leaking that he has a very low value in the league, that he's not a leader, not a good teammate, etc.?

I dont think they are trading him. I think they are redefining the role on the team. You can’t build around Zion as the guy next year. It needs to be utilitarian and he needs to buy in.
If I were to guess the organization are seriously thinking about building around Ingram, Herb, Murphy and Daniels.trading Zion if he wants out next summer. Towns is going to be available at some point, it might be him, (if the warriors don’t get him first).

I feel like the “no relationship” thing is a bit overblown, although it’s clear that Zion doesn’t hang w these guys off the court. He’s too busy hanging w his fat weird stylist and banging BBW’s.
But judging on who he converses with on the bench and how other players interact with him, it seems like Zion is probably tightest with Trey Murphy and Jose Alvarado overall. I don’t get the sense that he hangs out with anyone outside of the facility though, outside of CJ and Larry Nance probably forcing a Vet lead meet up for dinner here and there.
