Did you think Ingram was better than Durant last year? Just trying to understand peoples opinion. I just don’t understand peoples low opinion of KD.

I think it really just has to do with his age. He has only played something like 90 games over the last 3 years. If he were young, it would be one thing, but he will be 34 at the beginning of the season. That, coupled with the $200 million in guaranteed salary and multiple players/1st round picks that you would have to give to acquire him, make him a very risky proposition.

Got coach fired

Got all star traded

So his friend DeAndre Jordan could get minutes

Give him control of the Pels!

I’d be more inclined to give this a shot a year from now when I actually get to have seen what a healthy CJ/Herb/BI/Zion/Jonas team can do.

Maybe Zion is never the same, maybe BI and Zion can’t co-exist, maybe CJ regresses.

But it’s hard to basically co-sign blowing it up before we ever saw what “it” even is.

Cause there is also a world where Herb becomes a reliable C&S guy this season, CJ continues to play like last year, BI and Zion find a rhythm and look like one of the most unstoppable duo’s in the league, and Jonas does Jonas things. The bench all levels up and we cruise to 50+ wins and go deep in the playoffs.

Meanwhile you trade BI, Dyson, etc. plus 5-6 picks, and KD doesn’t gel with the culture, or continues to struggle with staying on the court, you aren’t going to get the haul you gave up and you probably set off a cascade of events that blows up most of the team

Plus, with the way the league has gone, feels like next season we will have at least 2-3 top 15 players on the move again, so it’s not like this is probably the only opportunity ever again

Herb is definitely going to progress as a scorer there’s no doubt in my mind.

Weak arse argument when KD won Finals MVP both times.

That's like saying Jordan doesn't have any without Pippen.

KD had free reign while Steph was double teamed the entire time and people couldnt help off of Klay.

Did Pippen win championships before and after playing with Jordan?

He’s played on two other teams with loads of talent and hasn’t taken them to the top.
And? Andre Iguodala has also won a finals MVP….

I mean he led an OKC team to the finals.

As for the Nets, he barely played for them, which is partly his fault and why we should be cautious about bringing him in, but LOL at a bunch of people here acting like KD isn't a top 5 player in the league when he is healthy.

nobody with any sense is saying that. What most are saying is that they don’t want to trade for him anyway

I don’t see why that is so hard to fathom

Yep...I'm expectin' 37% on C&S 3s this year from Herb...and even more importantly, adding a "floater" to allow him to finish at the hoop more effectively. Hope the Pels don't waste time trying to get Herb to develope a midrange game. And of course, his defense will continue to improve...as he learns more & more...AND gets more respect from the refs...which I thought he was already beginning to get , toward the end of this past season. JMO...I COULD be wrong.

People are literally trying to discredit is two titles/finals MVP's at Golden State.

Like I get it, Durant is a certified douchebag that is hard to root for as a person. But, I'll be honest, I've been a Hornets/Pels fans since day one and I've only seen us win two playoff series in 20 years. KD makes you an instant title contender, and that's all I care about.

but you do understand that it’s equally the prerogative of others to completely disagree with that right?

no douchebags, no assholes.
if you’ve been a fan since day 1 you’ve see mashburn drama, baron drama, JR drama, CP drama, AD drama as well as many other less talented but equally unsavory characters demoralize the fan base over and over again. No thanks

Do you care if the cost is BI, 1-2 of our best young guys, and 5 picks?

Cause that is probably what it will take
