Will we see any MAJOR changes this offseason?

What I consider major changes:

One of Griffin, Langdon, or Willie Green fired

or

One of Zion, BI or CJ traded

I personally don't think so (although someone like Langdon could leave for a "better" job).

Not if that is the parameter.

No. That would require ownership to be looking for blood. Ticket sales would have to be pretty bad for that. Even then it might not matter. The dirty underbelly of the national TV deal bringing in so much money is the money from fans becomes less important overall.

I think we will make a big trade.

One of Jose, Herb or Dyson going out along with Val and picks for a huge upgrade at the 5.

Define huge upgrade. Are you saying that’s what it would take to get Turner/Claxton. Or you’re thinking something more like KAT?

I know I’m in the minority here but I really like Willie. I think he communicates with these young players really well. I think he got handed a raw deal with all the injuries especially the big Puss.

yes but only if Griffin is canned.

if the mgmt team stays they roll with those three as is.

draft the duke 7 1 defender.

No. They are going to run it back again except without JV.

I think the organization see they’re starting to lose the fans and will go all in this offseason even if it means adding another max deal.

Whether they go after Bam, KAT, Ayton, or smaller deals that play the 4/5 like Collins, Claxton, Reid, Turner

I’d love Kat at the 5, but I don’t want to sacrifice depth in the process. Losing herb or Trey might be a deal breaker.

There are good protections in place on Zion contract for us so I doubt they do anything with him next year, but I’m done with him. Package him and let him be someone else project. I’m ready for a high contributor

We had our first winning season in a few years with Zion barely playing, nothing major is happening with the coaches or front office.

Then for him to succeed, he needs a serious upgrade to his staff. As a group, they look lost at times.

I definitely would not put Trey in any deal, he played himself into untouchable territory for me.

They don't need to make any radical moves roster wise. They just need to shore up the deficiencies and move on from guys they don't play. Retool with some additional shooters, a competent rotational big who can give you some rim protection, and add a strong X and Os guy who can formulate an offense that won't require BI/Zion too work hard on every possession in the regular season.

Our highest upside is running it back with everybody. Stability is underrated.

Everything hinges on Zion's health plain and simple.

I do think we end up swapping our JV for somebody like Turner or Claxton.

To me, a really great major change that could happen outside of your parameters are changes to the medical staff and training.

Also an assistant coach that specializes in installing a crisp offense is a must.
