tie breaker bullshite. don't think too hard about it, it's absurd at this point

Lol ... I haven't been keeping up with scenarios for just that reason.

Minny appears to have this one. Up 4 with 14 seconds to go.

So, if Portland and Utah are both ahead of the Pels, how does that game determine if we get 5th or 6th?
Pels own tiebreaker with OKC if in 3way with Portland.
Pels lose tiebreaker with OKC if in 3way tie with Utah.
Essentially
PDX>NOP>OKC
UTA>OKC>NOP
So yeah, tiebreaker bullshite

Mark Jackson is such a fricking tool

Here's an interesting question, that may or may not have been talked about, OKC and NOP are tied in records. Their seeding is dependent on Utah/Por game but is home-court dependent on the seeding in this case. We have the head-to-head tiebreaker over them and have the same season record. IF it comes down to a Western Conference Finals matchup between the Pels and Thunder, wouldn't Pelicans get homecourt even though they are the lower seed?

Theoretically yes.
In practice I don’t see OKC getting past both Houston and Utah, so it’s kind of academic.

Yep he is still trashing the Pelicans. Was doing this the other night as well.

Jackson being a tool is why he’s doing commentary and the Warriors are winning titles.

Dude is just a legitimate hater. It’s extrmely obvious.

Thanks. Like I said, there were so many scenarios, I just gave up on following and let it play out.

is this UTA-PDX game the ugliest uniform match-up the entire Association could've put out there?
Posted on 4/11/18 at 10:06 pm to rt3
Yeah those Utah uniforms are god awful

and as someone who works basketball games as a statistician... the red on black Portland's wearing sucks so awful

Depends.
Do the Nuggets do throwback jerseys to those godawful rainbow uniforms they had in the early 90s?
