I would love to.
Especially to see all of those Harden supporters terrified of AD's MVP run

Winning all 3 on this road trip would be huge. I think we get at least 2 but I am pretty hopeful right now. 10 game winning streak would get headlines and pack the SKC when they come home.

I'll do it.

I think I've done 4 of the 7 game streak. Maybe 3

Daniel Sallerson
@dsallerson
Per @PelicansPR, Emeka Okafor (right ankle sprain) has been downgraded from probable to questionable tonight vs. Dallas.

Dallas in an epic tank war. They recent won a game so they're probably won't win again anytime soon.

It sounds like they've been trying since Cuban got a $600,000 fine for admitting they were tanking. I don't think they'll lay down. This will look like the rest of the recent games. AD/Jrue will have to ball out for the team to win.

Apparently Dallas and Chicago had an epic tank-off the other night.

Dallas had four men on defense and Chicago still couldn’t score.

playoffs start tonite
no more nice schedule breaks like this weekend and every game could be a 4 or 5 spot swing. They players all say they just want to play games that matter, well every game matters here on out

they are going to lose some games obviously but tonite cant be one of them

When you look at tiebreakers and such, the pels could be in a really nice position if they sustain this kind of effort and determination. They could also be in real trouble if they revert to PTAO or worse. Basically everything from 3 down is in nearly equal play, including missing the playoffs

I don't think you can emphasize enough how critical it is that they make this postseason and how small the margin of error is

Pretty much have to win 2 games for every one loss to avoid the 7 and 8 seeds I think.

Completely agree. I also think that even though by the end of this race there will be a very small difference in the records, there will be a huge difference in public perception and team confidence between being labeled a “3 seed” or “4 seed” vs a “7 seed”

right

the stakes for this franchises credibility are huge. AD is on the clock, as he clearly told everyone who would listen at the all star game. His profile goes up considerably with a couple of years of top to middle seed playoff series. just like it has done for his peers.

the good thing is that the teams around them are all flawed. There's not a clear "better" team in the bunch and the pelicans can beat any one of them in a series

The Pels next 3 are winnable. Not necessarily easy, but winnable. Over the same span most of the 3-10 teams are either playing each other or the Rockets and Warriors. If this team is going to step up and get some breathing room, the next 5-6 days are when to start it. Turn a 3 game streak into a 6 game streak, then you play Spurs, Tank, Clippers, Tank. All of a sudden you’re on a 10 game win streak or hopefully at least 8 or 9 out of 10 and you have a little cushion in a tight playoff race. Which they’ll need.
