What happened with Zion in the bubble?

I never heard what the actual reason was why he left the bubble. Was it because he was a fat piece of shite, or was there another reason?

I think it was the Christian Clark article that came out the week before media day with the Piano Man story also said Zion actually left because of an injury, hamstring IIRC. I don't know how true that is or not, why not treat your injury in the bubble? But it does fit the general pattern of being unreasonably secretive about injuries.

The stated reason at the time was a family emergency. What the Christian Clark report said was that, while there was a family reason for Zion to leave, he also had a pulled hamstring that they kept quiet and didn't report.
When he came back two weeks later, it was obvious that he'd put on some fat.
But I don't believe anyone really knows the full story of that situation.

Reports said when he first saw the relative classiness of the Yacht Club, it dawned on him that he's contracted to live and work in the shithole of the nation, whose biggest claim to fame is that it does a couple of things better than Mississippi and smells better than East Texas a few weeks out of the year.
