We dont really have roster spots for those picks but weve been very good at identifying talent in round 2

Foreign Stash Project
Combine and trade up round 2
Possibly combine and upgrade a bench player
Sell picks for cash
Trade for future picks

Pat Baldwin Jr. is a great choice if he’s dropping, former 5 star who chose to play for his dad and just didn’t have the year he should’ve.
Had the talent out of high school, would be a great stab in the second

I’d take a flyer on JD Notae…that guy can score.

His nickname is PB&J which is pretty awesome lol
6'9 220 also doesn't grow on trees
Seems he had a baller first game in college got injured and never got right.
McDonald's All American and has the ability to sit and come along as needed. Don't think someone else wouldn't snag him before 42 but as a lottery ticket absolutely a good name to follow tonight

While i'd 100% love him in the second but he didn't "just have the year he shouldn't have".
He had a historically bad shooting season versus sub par competition.

If we are getting an actual player in the second, it is a draft and stash or we have cut a deal to move Temple or a small contract like Naji for a roster spot.

Hugo besson would be interesting as a stash

Would love Kofi, Roddy, or PBJ

Im interested in JD Davison. Alabama pipeline and he was a top 10 overall recruit just a year ago. Didn’t really find his role at Alabama but has all the tools to outplay a second round pick

Profile looks interesting.
I think his nickname becomes Sideshow JD, though.

Having Littlefinger as our GM helps.
He has his eyes on the money and uses chaos as a ladder.

Imagine if the Pels had sold their 2nd rounder last year.
He turned out to be a team starter & league-wide defensive star, while their 1st rounder came off the bench to contribute.
Moral of the story: Pick players with your picks regardless of limited available roster spots. Worst case, they don't make the team, much like cash considerations don't suit up for games. Best case, you find a future super-max player.

quote:If so, I hope it is for multiple future 2nds rather than just cash. It was disappointing how little Memphis got from the Lakers for the #35 - only 1 future 2nd and cash. I would prefer a stash or 2-way with the picks if we cannot turn them into 3 future 2nds and cash.
