1. Jazz
2. Clippers
3. Nuggets
4. Rockets
5. Warriors
6. Lakers
7. Pelicans
8. Mavs (if Unicorn is back to form)

Sidenote I really don't see how the Blazers make the playoffs and got them as a close 9th seed. Whiteside can barely stay on the court and they lost alot of length and wing help. I won't be surprised if the King's be in the spot of the Mavs and I'm really banking on Jrue and Favors having an career resurgence of a new level. Lastly the Rockets are a wild card, can be a top 4 team or miss the playoffs with bad fallouts. Harden himself is really good and can carry them, but team dysfunction is a real thing. If they fall out, the Blazers are in.

Never count Popovich out of the playoffs.

Yeah, the Jazz, Clips and Nuggets appear to be the most complete teams in the conference, with little holes.

If the Pels finish in the 6th, 7th or 8th seed, we'll most likely be facing one of them.

I'd like to catch the Clips in the playoffs while Kawhi is forced to rest a leg for the series.

I don’t think the lakers are as bad as people on this board want them to be. They’re one injury away from being shite but their current lineup isn’t terrible. I’d be surprised if they aren’t a top 4 seed.

on paper they don't look that bad.. I think most here are just hoping to see Danny Green try to break up a bench fight between AD, Bron, Boogie and Rondo

I think top 4 is pushing it given the load management, lack of depth, and AD's injury propensity. It's possible, but I think that is more the ceiling than the expected floor.

But I think they certainly have some solid points in their favor in a 7 game series.

I don't believe they will fight for a higher seed and will coast for portions of the regular season. They aren't particularly deep, but it's going to be a dog fight to get in. 6th seed seems about right..

Players like Rondo shine in a 7 game series but are major liabilities in the regular season.

Much like last season, I see the Lakers’ biggest issue is making it to the playoffs simply because they don’t have a wide margin for error or injury.

There is no way in hell the pels and mavs make the playoffs over the blazers weird prediction.

The pels are more than likely not going to make the playoffs this year. We made great moves, but playoffs feel very unlikely.

1. Clippers
2. Nuggets
3. Jazz
4. Rockets
5. Blazers
6. Lakers
7. Warriors
8. Spurs

I agree. But I also don’t think they are as good as some of the other Western Conference teams. IMHO; Nuggets, Rockets, Jazz, Blazers & Clippers > Lakers.

They will be in the playoff hunt for that 7-8 spot with the Warriors, Kings and Spurs IMO.

I definitely see the Lakers being a top 4 seed.

The West is gonna be flat as hell this year. The top 6 seeds could be separated by like 4 games

Like the Clippers might be title favorites but I wouldn't be surprised if they were a 3 seed. Kawhi will almost certainly miss 12-15 games and PG isn't anything close to being an ironman.

NBA needs to shave about 10 games off the regular season.

I predict a lot of morons on this board will have the Lakers missing the playoffs.

I think the Lebron/AD Lakers are a lot like the Jrue/AD Pels. They don't have enough depth of consequence to carry the load if either of the top 2 are out for long. I would put them as a bubble playoff team where injury will play a big role in how well they do.

Can people explain to me why the blazers are a lock for the playoffs again?
