We're all going to have to readjust our expectations

I don't see this team getting out of the first round. We'll be a low seed and any of Memphis, Denver, or whoever makes the 3 seed will just have too much continuity that we'll lack even IF Z comes back right.

Looks like we will not in fact be exercising the pick swap.

I'm readjusting my expectations for the entire Zion/Ingram Era. I am tired of waiting for them to make a leap. It's always some kind of set back every single year.

Next season is do or die for this squad.

Granted, there isn't much we can do to pivot if both are hurt again next season, but we'll know it's the end of the "run" if they are

I have officially given up on Zion. He's great when he plays, but I've been lying to myself thinking he could ever remain healthy. Just not going to happen.

CJ is also questionable for tomorrow with an ankle sprain

I know I am going to get down voted, but at this point this current squad doesn't have the cattle to compete with any of the top teams in the West (except maybe the Kings):

It would be in the Pels best interest to have as close to the same record as the Lakers. For example if the Lakers finish 7th and the Pels finish 8th in the lottery they have 7.5% and 6% combined chance. Nearly the same as the top 2 chances with 14%.

I don't care for moral victories for the season.
Losing in the first round to PHX, Memphis, Denver or Dallas. Give me those odds at a Wemby, Scoot, Miller and the Thomson twins over a 4-1 or 4-2 loss in the playoffs.

don't worry... won't be the last game he misses due to "injury"... same goes for Ingram... they'll be out with "injuries", especially if we start sliding in the standings...

We matchup well with Denver, even without Zion. I'd still probably favor them with homecourt advantage, but I'd rather get them in the first round than Memphis. We've played them well this season even when not at full strength. Memphis just straight up owns us.

cool. thank you.

if i got #1 i would do a deal. no wembanyama for me.
i need to watch some scoot and the brothers.

also i pray zion can play his normal game by the last week so he can shine in playoffs.
im dealing him this summer if he restores the shine.
i cant take it emotionally.
let someone else hope he stays healthy and works on his game.
